Resorts in Ko Samed are very expensive. But I hate cheap huts.

I have once stayed at the same site, before it is renovated and turn into Holiday Inn. It called something like Meridien. Very old fitting and disappointed. I always sat in the grand building next door which is now called Inter-continental and blamed myself...why I didn't spent two hundred dollars more for a prettier room.

I am not sure whether Holiday Inn Bangkok is 舊同殘. HK$650 for 4 people and around Big C is value for money for my family during 26 - 31 December.
