我都諗住比慧喬讀IS, 有d有普通話學架! 6個月我諗你可能miss左, 因為我check過要8月開學時夠6個月大先入得, 多數無中途插班, 不過而家你都可以比bb去playgroup既!

I still haven't decided but I think most likely I'll stay in HK. I have done some research on HK Kindergarten just in case. Some international schools will have program that will allow students to join local schools when they finish Kindergarten.

我嘅睇法會較偏向選擇教學方式，到時自己都會可以容易d配合輔助佢學習上嘅需要。反正讀IS就要補中文，讀local就要補英文，但係讀local嘅小朋友為左要保持競爭力，真係不得不編排滿滿嘅課外活動，因為學校收生亦都會睇呢d細節，個人認為都幾可悲，小朋友跟本無真正放暑假。

IS會較活學活用同著重啓發性，Local都會有好學校，但真係唔多同師資方面好參差，派位亦都係一個我唔太想囡囡要經歷嘅過程。相較兩種教學方式，IS課程會有好多從題目中自由引發小朋友思考，local就會因應教統局編排模式，填鴨居多。

That's what we thought as well. We don't want my bb has too much pressure. we just want her to enjoy her life. I studied in local school and went to overseas for high school and Uni. I personally found it's not too difficult. My hb was born and studied in UK and came back to HK when he was in primary school. His parents put him to IS for primary and he went back to UK for secondary and high school.

He told me that it's much easier for him. We will mostly probably put her to IS.

I normally use airport express http://www.airport-express.co.uk/ not sure if they'll go to Hertsfordshire.

係啦, 晌屋企的日子真係好忙, 成日都要餵奶, 而家返咗工就反而有番d私人時間做吓嘢添呀!
我而家仲有餵人奶架, 夜晚就同工人輪流湊小b, 如果係佢湊果晚就餵奶粉囉!
不過我都會繼續努力架喇!

I have recently joined BK and have finally finished reading this thread! Hello everyone!

Here comes my brief history- My hubby is a BBC and I got sent to boarding schook in uk. We met in uni and got married a few years later. We then decided to have BB in HK so we came back to HK last year and here I am!

When I first came back, I felt so upset as everything was so different from the UK, and I had an awful time trying to settle in whilst heavily pregnant. Wish I'd discovered BK back then!

Ava, I'm also thinking about the school issue, can bb start school just 6 months???

I wholly breastfeed too

, just watched the programme yatjei hyperlinked, it's so good, can't believe i've missed it when it first showed on tele. I feel exactly the same on the breastmilk issue in HK, I hate it when ppl tell my my milk is not good enough for bb

!

Anyway, better catch up on my beauty sleep, hahah! I'll try to be regular here!

Nice to meet you! My background is similar to yours, I went to boarding school in the UK and met my husband from uni. When I was pregnant I decided to have my baby in HK therefore I went back to HK when I was 8 months pregnant. We now decide we'll probably stay in HK so I'm now looking for a job in HK. How old is your baby?

Some kindergartens have pre-nursery schools which starts at 6 months. Yew chung is one of them. I'm also looking for a school for my daughter.
