想問下, 新工人下星期到港, 我而家有d咩要prepare, 佢到港後係唔係要立即同佢驗身, 定係要agent同佢去驗完身先到我家. 同埋拎身份証係我地同佢去. 仲有咩要注意, 因為第一次請工人, 唔太知道.

Hi Mrs Rose,

I would like to seek your advice.

My previous maid worked for us 4 years and actually I want to continue the contract. Until almost 1 month before renewal contract, I found out she took my girls new toy and old clothes&shoes without asking us. I was angry and lost confidence to her. However, she took care my 3-yrs and 7 yrs old girls good and they get along well.

Now my new maid is back-off and my girls missed the old maid so much. I did think to re-employ her again. My home is dis-order. I am a working mum and I just get some temp helper to look after my home now. What is yr opinion? Some friends said it's common that maid to get the little things from home. Should I pardon her?

If I re-employ her, should I continue to give her the 'long-employment service' if she work one more yr? I know she has signed a new contract with another family.

Your advice is really appreciated!:loveliness:

條友仔話兩個星期無去過大便!!!?-( ?-(

仲有,, 工人本passport比佢school keep 住, 我可否要求攞返??

一定要準備D冬天舊/新衫俾佢。叫agent同佢去驗完身先去你家，拎身份証通常係Agent同佢去攪，然後Agent代領，但你Agent係點安排我就唔清楚，打去問詳情。無咩特別，你想俾工人知D咩就講囉，唔駛客氣。

首先工人係無試用期架! 只係頭3個係無 "有薪" 勞工假期，即有假放但無薪。

法例上係唔可以退回工人，炒佢一樣要補錢及機票，但你Agent就應該要對此事負全責。

法例上Agent / school / employer /第三者，都唔可以keep工人passport，所以當然可要求攞返俾工人。

Hi siumyra,
It was only after such a long time of service then you found out about the missing items, I would assume those aren't important or commonly used items you need. If you are not uncomfortable about this type of behaviour, you should be open and talk to her about this.

At present she is already under contract with another family, have you ask her if she is willing to break her present contract to come back to work for you? If yes, she will need to exit Hong Kong before she can start work with you.

You won't need to pay for the long-service since she had worked for another in between.

放大假最好計算方法如下:
人工計到最後工作天即: 01/12-21/12
第3&4年大假錢 : 8日+9日共17日
補回22/12休息日+25/12勞工假+1/1勞工假
返HK日再重新起計人工

僱主要俾佢來回的機票。

法例無講佢只返大陸，僱主是否 ...

Thanks very much for your impartial reply. Honestly I saw some feedback on BK are too extreme to maid. This makes me scare to find another maid so I thought to re-employ her. I believe my ex-maid won't come back again:( as she sms me that she's working fine. My husband said if I found the ex-maid back, I will be headed by her!

I am stilling looking for maid but my agent can't give many choices so far

我的賓賓helper 是新加坡及香港各完左一個約的, 轉過來我之前她只在香港留了幾天, 沒有出去外國UPDATE VISA, (我不肯定, 因是 AGENT 安排的) , 佢現幫我做左6個月左右, 她說下年3月(為我工作未夠1年) 想放1星期假回家看看, 順便 update visa. 她幾個月來都很幫到我, 我希望可以安排好些大家都滿意.

不過我想了解一下, 我要負責的是
1. 她來回原居地機票 (她說因她是放假, 她會出一半) - 有冇好介紹大約要多少 ?
2. 她未做夠1年, 是否享有有薪大假7天 ?
3. 如是, 現在她放7天大假是否我按比例 (3/12) 扣她3天工資
4. 另我需放假期間我要每一天補多 $100 給她 ?
5. 因我覺得她有機會回去結婚, 結婚我不介意，但因我主力要她照顧我的BB, 如果她結婚又即時大了肚, , 回來她亦辛苦, 我亦無人可用, 如果我在她走之前要她簽一份同意書, 說明如果她回來發現懷孕便等同雙方即時解約, 我只包她回家的機票, 其它無需補給她, 此可行嗎 ? 犯法嗎 ?

Yes true, worked for 6 days, the 7th day should be rest day.

如果未通知入境處而工人又肯返黎做，甘就無問題。但如你已通知入境處，就要帶同工人上入境處攪清楚，working visa有沒有已被取消了。
