polarmama, sharon add oil ah!! I really treasure the new-born stage when the baby is having the closest bonding with the mother (but i also think it's the most demanding stage...maybe girls are better).
For the breastfeeding, yes, feed the smaller side first everytime , until it really got out of milk, then switch to another side. I used to feed for around an hour for each feed to make sure he's full so that the interval can be long btw each feed. The by-product was that he grew like a ball.
It's applicable also if you find a side is blocked, just feed that side first. Also push using your other hand on the area that is blocked when the baby is sucking. This helps a lot.
My younger boy (~1.25yr) is still having my milk. I'm still pumping at the office....hmm, i'm thinking of when to stop pumping la.....Coz i'll have a move to other company and that could be a logical break.
I'm also going to renew my maid's contract by the end of this year. Similar to Ella's case, my maid is a broken-contract and old (almost 40). But her attitude and performance is okay. Although not as good as HoneyPorPor, but okay la. She let me have a peace of mind and can stay at work without worrying about the kids too much.
Kiusha and DoMa, add oil ah!! When all the bad broken-leg horses gone, the good one comes!!
