我都矇查查

至於可唔可以同hk銜接係技術上有些少困難，因lee邊係用簡體字，返hk就要重新學繁體字，另外有..........不過細佬仔學野快......唔駛太擔心0既

請工人好易，至於國籍仲有印度.....多數菲及印尼多就真

First, pls excuse me to type my reply in English. In my opinion, if you decide to relocate here, you need to plan to:

1. find a church to help you to learn new friends here and help to adapt quickly;

2. to live nearby your husband's office so in any case he can come back to home asap if something happen at home need his help.

2. try to find any parents or relatives to come along with you in SG at least first month as move house quite a lot of things to do as you need to take care your kid.

3. think in worst case, if can't adapt the environment in SG, what's the emergency plan? For example, can transfer back to HK or somewhere else?

To share with you, for my case, why we decided to relocate here is that there is a chance of promotion for my husband in his company. You know, there may be no more chance if give up this offer. Also before we decide to come here, we pray for God and didn't feel uncomfortable about the decision.

In my experience and opinion, if people make own decision can make wrong decision, but if pray and seek for God and he will lead your way.

If your son is 2nd genernation PR, he need to serve NS (national service). In my opinion, if I was you, I will apply the PR 1st, when he grow older, he can decide he want to be a singaporian or not.

same as HK, ture or turing 7 yrs old. eg, my son born on 2004 June, he will start his p1 on 2011 Jan. The main diff in sg is the school start at Jan, not sep. 銜接 is a good question, I think it should not be a problem, because most of sg school standard is higher than HK, English and chinese are better, the only problem is as what bryanma said, the simplify chinese. you may need to teach him by yourself.

The company my husband worked for ensure he pays the same tax as in HK. The company pays for the exceeding $$.

買野係咪有銷售稅架
Yes, the $ for most the the 曰用品 a little higher then those in HK. eg. groceries are more $$.

A little higher than HK

Unless he got the PR / citizenship, he don't have to 服兵役.

Primary1(7yrs old)

It depends on when your boy may go back HK.
If he had to go back HK before he's 7 years old, it'll be easier. Reading simple stories in complicated Chinese with him in Cantonese, and teach him to write simple complicated Chinese character since he's four or five years old helps a lot.

新加坡請工人難嗎係咪淨係有菲菲同印印揀架咋
Same as HK, easy to find a maid, really lucky to find a good one.

有無日本明治奶粉賣架
Japanese groceries can be found in:
Isetan (on Orchard and several other locations)
Takashimaya in Ngee Ann city (on Orchard Road)
Meidaya in Liang court (close to Roberson Quay)

My husband, me and our 5 years old boy were relocated in Singapore last July. We decided to take the offer, so that my husband don't have to fly a lot, he used to travel between HK, Singapore and China a lot. Besides, the 2 years in Singapore provide a good language environment for our son to learn Mandarina and polish his English as well.

其實用幾多, 自己有個預算就得架啦!! 有 d 東西, 唔需要買就唔買住, 等 0下等 0下就唔會買架.

飯仔今日返學仲好地地，點知11.00am接到學校電話話佢發燒，嚇到我拿拿聲趕去學校接返佢

，好彩屋企有退燒藥，而佢除0左燒，基本行得食得，只係纏身些少

前後食0左4次藥，但D燒都唔上唔落咁，聽日再唔退又要去比e生望0下
