史老師通常嘅做法係：先選歌，跟住叫佢地返屋企寫低 d 指法，之後自己練熟首歌，上堂再由佢執漏，如果有 d 特別難或者講極都唔明，佢就會示範。我唔知佢其他學生係咪咁，但我果兩個就係咁上堂，可能佢諗住我會攪得掂掛！但上到囡囡果 level 我都無能為力啦！唯有靠佢自己啦！

Agree with you! Rachel Cheung's performance this afternoon was the most enjoyable one!!

There're a lot of audience this afternoon and I didn't see both of you inside/outside the concert hall.?-( ?-( But I met an old friend of mine.

By the way, the performance of Chan Sa on 9/9 was wonderful too.

最近因為要 up- grade 部電腦，所以到依家先可以再上 BK.
其實星期六場音樂會，三個 pianist 都彈得非常好，Rachel 同 Matthew 簡直大開眼界，不過 Rachel 都覺得 Rachel Cheung 嘅表現係最好，如果個個叫 Rachel 嘅都係咁叻就好啦！

Rachel 個 percussion 老師介紹咗一個 percussion 嘅 performance，係星期三晚 8點係 APA 嘅 concert hall，你地有無興趣呀？我地聽晚會去睇呀！

Hi Rachelthew,

Sorry for the late reply. We noticed that concert in APA but given up because my daughter has to play performance class this Sat. So how's the concert ? Is it good ?

Does Matthew join the Speech Festival this year ? We join Cantonese verse, Mandarin verse, English verse and Bible this year. Mandarin is the new venture.

For Music Festival, we have not asked teacher yet.

Is Matthew playing other competitions too ?

Hi, gogochurch,

本來我地 reserve 咗 d 飛去睇 concert，但 Matthew 果日下午考完 violin 之後話唔舒服，所以留咗係屋企休息，最後都係 miss 咗個 concert，連家姐都無得睇啦！
Matthew 今年都係俾老師簡咗參加男子中文詩詞組咋！ Elise 參加咁多組真係厲害啦！佢今年咪會好忙囉！相信 APA d courses 都好 demanding ，係咪？！
Matthew 依家準備梗校際 d 歌，如果OK 的話，可能會參加音樂協會攪嘅 "Bach & Listz" piano competition，另外仲有出年考試 d 歌，都有排佢忙啦！仲有學校 d 功課同埋團隊！

我諗起都驚啦！聽日 percussion band 又開始啦！

Good to see you here again, long time no chat.

Gogochurch:Stephanie is taking the musicianship course with Elise this year, I saw her on Sat, she's really sweet and pretty. Stephanie said sometimes they play together during recess, its so nice to have a "big sister" looking after and playing with her. Apart from musicianship, S is taking the Strings Ensembles on Sat too.

Rachelthew & Gogochurch: we bought tickets to watch the piano concert on Aug 9th too, but had to rush back to take class at 4pm, only had time to watch Aristo Shum's performance. We missed Rachel Cheung's performance, what a pity. About the coming speech festival, Stephanie will be participating in Mandarin group, Mandarin verse and Eng verse. It's going to be a hectic month ahead, not to mention their coming assessment.

Hi Rachethew and Tzeyanmui,

School started for two weeks already and we felt still in summer holiday. Elise is so slow with her homework and hardly starts revising. She has not yet started playing the choir songs or seriously preparing her percussion examination. The only improvement is the APA piano performance class which gives her more incentive in daily practice.

I am looking forward to the next long vacation in June next year. Haven't thought about piano competition yet. :lol: :lol:

Our summer holiday starts early next year, the final assessment finishes on Jun 19. It's good that we can enjoy the low season fares.

Gogochurch: I saw the name list on the 2nd floor notice board the other day, does Elise like her piano teacher? Is she very demanding?

Hi Tzeyanmui,

I haven't seen the name list and what is that about ?

Elise is very fond of her piano teacher and has been studying with her for 3 years already. She is still the baby student but teacher is very loving and encouraging. Teacher knows her students well and has different expectation according to their ability. Now I can only attend her piano lesson every alternative week but guess that could train her to be more independent.

I am surprised that only piano has performance class. Is the string ensemble demanding or is it fun ? Can parents attend too ? We skip the first musicianship class to attend concert on 8/9. The MJ201 programme makes going to APA more like schooling and not just another extra-curricular activities. Do you feel the difference too ?

By the way, I am surprised that the school has started the English and Mandarin speech training already this year. The kids are getting busy with the choir and orchestra/band practice.

Hi JP,

Welcome back. My daughter's school started test already and P. 3 seems much busier than P.2.

We finally decided on the Music Festival entry this year. No more vocal. Just percussion, grade 5 piano, Chinese piano and piano duet. A lot of work ahead.

How James and Peter's practice with the Festival song ? We will probably start the Speech Festival practice first this week after the school test.

Wow, Elise is so smart to handle all these Speech/Music Festival events!

James is going to take his gr.8 piano exam 2 weeks later while Peter's gr.7 exam is on 10 Nov. They've just started their Music Festival pieces. Both of them are quite lazy in practising!

我都覺得今年三年班多咗嘢做，同埋功課都深咗，我等緊睇吓今次 test 嘅 result呀！
Elise 今年 percussion 會參加 marimba 定 xylophone 組呀？ Matthew 就兩組都參加，因為老師話兩首歌都比較易，同埋 percussion 嘅比賽比較少，可以襯校際攞多 d 經驗！另外佢 piano duet 會彈邊首呀？我果兩位少爺同小姐就想彈 Mozart 首 variation，但老師就叫佢地彈 rumba ，最後就緊係老師話事啦！
