方麗娟, I usually have 5-6 hours sleep per night in total but will wake up 1-2 times for either pumping or feeding my girl. Since I need to drop off my boy to daycare, I have to wake up at 6:30am, use 15 mins for wash up myself and then wake up my son at 6:45am, then leave the home before 7:15am. Sometimes, my daughter wakes up at 5:30am, I may not be able to go back to bed after feeding her (afraid that I won't be able to wake up on time). I have a funny time to share - I talked to my husband in the bed one night after the 2 kids slept. All a sudden, I fell sleep in the middle of the conversation. I then was waken up by the cry of my daughter and I remembered that I should be in the midst of talking with my hubby. I asked him and he's a bit pissed - "how can you fall sleep when I'm talking to you?" Actually, I told him before that I can fall sleep in 5 minutes no matter how noisy the place or where it is (I always slept on the bus or MTR before when I lived in HK) and now, he believes me.
brbaby2007, Veronica is just 10 days old, it's no way that you can sleep continuously for 4 hours. After feeding her, you possibly can sleep 2 hours and it's time for her next feeding, right? Do you have anybody helping you at home now? Remember to eat healthy and drink a lot of liquid everyday.
