Trevor learns a lot from school, (i can tell from his conversation) he enjoys reading too.he loves listening to stories as well as telling stories.he got homework as well which he hates.
i did think about giving him packed lunch at first as he is very picky, but we really don't want him eating cold sandwiches in winter days, so we decided let him try school lunch first, if he really doesn't like it, then we change it.( if he has packed lunch first, he won't want to change) surprisingly, he enjoys school hot lunch, so we just let him carry on.
he didn't feel sad or unhappy when he changed to full time. don't worry about Kiyomi, she is a clever girl, she will make it.

Yes ar, agree with Cissie la, before I also worried about they go to Reception Class ga, but they are ok now. And they try to talk to their teachers with 少少 English and Cantonese. They will start full day at Summer term. On Thursday, twin girls and me were all in the toilet, twin 2 looked at her finger, because her 手指有少少脫皮，and then twin1 also looked at twin 2's finger, then twin 1 said: Oh dear...........

我囡囡架學校行20分鐘左右，我都想渣車，可惜...無車，我都想買車...不過...等我搵到野做先 :cry:

你就好啦！間學校咁近，我諗遲D再凍D，我諗我同阿囡會凍死街頭都似 :cry: 前幾日好鬼凍，我個身就好暖，因為著左好多衫，不過我個耳仔就凍到有D痛 :cry:

我呢個月尾會落Wales幾日去探我老公，暫時我係英國既生活都算ok，有少少悶咁啦！咁你幾時過黎陪我下咁呢！

Thanks for your encouragement about the changing of B Ching’s nursery.

It cheered me up a lot!

The nursery staff will bring her to the new nursery and let her stay there for one hour today, and they will increase the time everyday, so by Friday she will stay there the whole day. Will let you know how she is doing tomorrow. Hope she won't scare the new nursery staff away by her screaming!

Do u guys think BK is very very slow? I do, while I was so concentrated waiting for the page to come up, I didn't look at my active beloved son. When I looked at him, a big surprise, he was eating AQUEOUS cream!!!!!!!! I had to wash him & change him.

Kiyomi is having a very strongwill, at pre-school, for snack time, if she decided not to eat, she wouldn't eat, that's what the teacher told me. So it is hard for her to join the school lunch if she is not interested the food. Do u think I spoil her? yes i spoiled her from day one, it is too late to change. What homework does Trevor need to do? Is his school very strict? How many school uniforms do u buy? I am still thinking to buy how many cos it is quite expensive (cos I am poor). & children outgrow very soon. So can u give me some tips?

is the school the nearest one? If it is a good school, it is worth to walk the distance lor. do u feel cold? this is only autumn, the coldest months should be around January-February, it is cold, windy, cloudy & dull. So prepared for the cold winter.
Does your little girl get used to the school life here? does she have any homework to do?
do u pack lunch for her?
are you looking for job?

Hey hey, Twingirls are smart girl so they can get used to the shool life so quick. The class size in her school is very big, about 30 children in one class, so she won't get much attention from the teacher. That's why she has to be very independent.

How’s your visit to the nurse?

Did you get a date for your 1st scan?

I remembered if you want to do the nuchal fold test for down’s syndrome you have to have the scan around 11 weeks.

Thanks for you tip about parking in Bayswater,

but my hubby is very impatient,

he’d rather pay more than to drive around and find a parking space, so we usually park in the carpark opposite Royal China

……I will tell him about the cheaper whitely carpark next time.

I only breastfeed partially. I topped up with milk powder after B Ching has breastfeed because she is always crying and I can’t figure out whether she is still hungry or not.

Now looking back, I think it is just in her character to feel insecure and want to suck all the time!:evil: I stopped breastfeeding completely when she was around 7 months old.

“有時我都餵到好辛苦&好燘,但係當阿囡好乖or訓覺時,就會後悔之前燘佢” – same feeling as I had, :lol: :lol: but don’t worry, it will all get better when they grow older. Add oil, add oil!

Don’t worry too much about Donovan not eating the mince. 10 months is still very young, he is just not used to the texture. B Ching was also very fussy about eating, what I did was to blend the mince again AFTER it is cooked so that it becomes a puree and mix it into the congee. :mrgreen:

hello, don't say "tips" la, Trevor just started school this September, everything is very new to me as well. we just "discuss" kids school life here

About his homework, he got 2 story books to read every week, he has to look at the pictures and try to tell a story on his own. he learnt 3 letters a week, every friday, he got sheets to pratice handwritting (his handwritting is very good, like a picture and an art~just nobody can read it or understand it and he learnt 3 words a week, on friday, the teacher will put these 3 words on a small box for him to take home to learn. the school is very good, not strict at all. the teacher is very kind to him.
About uniform, i bought 2 polo shirts, 2 trousers, 1 short and 2 sweaters for him. i bought 1 sweater for him at first, but he always make it very dirty, so i buy another sweater for him recently. then, i PE shirt, 1 PE short, 1 apron for art, 1school bag and 1 PE bag. sounds a lot of things, isn't it? most of them i bought from marks and spencer, some of them from school office.

are you looking for a job? some mami works as a cashier is supermarkets.because 1: they just scan the barcode from the goods, and take money. not too difficult. if you work in a take-away, it may use up all your energy.

2: you don't have to work for long hours,they normally works during school hours ,five days a week. my husband also suggest me work in sainsbury after Irene goes to school

but i wonder if 1 of them not feeling well, can i get a day off easily

其實間學校都算近，不過...天氣凍起上黎，行過去都幾甘下 :lol: 我係香港住慣左，所以比較怕凍...所以我隔左咁來先同囡囡過黎定居咋 :lol: 因為我無勇氣面對寒冷既天氣

我係想攞野做，攞過D餐館，諗住做part-time樓面，因為生意唔好，話有野做先叫我返工喎... :cry:
阿女上個禮拜就係學校食餐，不過食厭左，又要我整午餐比佢，我多數都係整奶油麵包，今日就整burger佢吔！
