Hihi,

I will go with my 2 years old baby and my 70+ aged parents, any recomendations for my trip? And are there any good stuff worth to buy in SG??

1. Choose a hotel in city centre, be very closed to MRT.
2. If you are booking 2 rooms, you should ask for connnecting rooms.
3. bring your baby stroller if possible, or ask your hotel if they have any for borrow.
4. Singapore zoo is a must go and bring the swimming suit to the zoo as it has a very good water game for kids.
5. Songs of the sea is also a must go. Take the Sentosa Express if possible as it is much cheaper and convenient.
6. Lam Chi Yeun pork jerk is a must buy souvenir, you can find it in China Town.
7. don't plan too many programmes in one day, as the kids and elders may feel very tiring.

U may choose "Swissotel the Stamford" @ City Hall MRT.

Location is convenient
but the carpet in the room was dirty and old
when I stayed there in summer 2006

雖然價錢及地點吸引, 但絕對唔建議訂呢間酒店!!!... 本人一家在5.1 勞動節去完singapore... 完了 sentosa 的酒店住宿後。本想近市區方便行街... 訂了一晚Peninsula.Excelsior Hotel.... check-in 之後上房放下行李, 一入去我們以為去了一間連大陸的賓館都不如的房間, 舊到不得了, 又有蟻, 地毯舊不在話, 以為去咗一間殘破的鬼屋一般似的...... 我們一家有小朋友的... 當晚係街行到好夜先上房, 完全唔想留係房.. 沖完涼即刻瞓覺, 第二朝即刻搭車去機場....... 想不到singapore 有如此酒店的!!!!!!

Both are good but I would prefer Swissotel as it is just on top of the MRT station and shoppoing mall which has a supermarket and food court where you can buy drinks and food.

I would recommend the day zoo instead of the night zoo as :
1. you can watch more clearer on the animals
2. you have more time
3. less insects disturbance
