i think main point is you like your maid or not. if you like her and find her doing good. why not giver her 3 weeks holiday (provided that you and hb can have enough leave to cover).
for the salary, i have another suggestion, you still give her $3270 every month and keep the $400 as bonus, if she doing good in her 2nd contract, then you will pay her the lump sum at the end of 1st and 2nd year as an incentive. you think think la.
