煲魚粥﹐ 我將D魚整碎或者用 blender 攪碎撈埋D 粥到比BB 食。不過我個仔唔鐘意食﹐ 佢最鐘意食蒸水蛋。

Hi, all USA mommy

Wish you all have Happy Holidays and have you buy any Christmas tree or decorate your house like my neighbours did??( they decorate their houses...full of Christmas lighting and santa, snowman...e.t.c)
Maybe California do not have snow and so people just want to make it more Christmas feel

Another question for all USA mommy

When you breast feed your baby, which breast pump you used? Cos I stay home most of my time so I want a cheaper one like Avent Isis Pump but most people recommend buy Medela breast pump so I am not sure.....

??? Any suggestion?

Hi Leohannahchan,
I knew I was going to use the pump for just a short period of time so I bought Avent Isis. I stopped breast feeding when my kids were about 3 months old. If you plan to breast feed your baby for a long time, you should buy Medela. Your hand will get so sore and tired when you use Avent pump all the time.

今年撞正christmas搬,所以都無decorate 間屋呀..我老公上年買咗真既christmas tree ,但係其實我都覺得幾危險,因為佢哋d splinter , 好易整整損..但係我老公又唔鍾意假..

我老公唔係咁鍾意玩21點,佢話無乜運喎,佢最鍾意係poker.有時佢都玩到半夜,但係佢會自己屎返上嚟囉..佢都有叫我同佢一起玩.但係我just for fun,係網上面玩, 2/4 仙咁玩.唔係佢哋個d, 一個game分分鐘成百蚊個d ( no limit )..好彩我老公自己識自制,如輸咗一百蚊,佢就會走人囉..win咗一百蚊又會自己走人囉..

個interview 係for greencard 架..其實係應該會早d既,因為個fingerprint 係上年年尾巳經出咗.但係個段時間剛剛我亞哥graduate, 所以我無去fingerprint,選擇咗去第二個州participated 我亞哥的graduate 囉,如果唔係我今年年頭都巳經拿咗greencard lu..不過,無所謂啦..

我係用evenflo, 係電動的,所以唔會好攰..加上有power adjustment, 可以睇返當時你既需要而調交, 我就覺得唔錯囉.但係我太lazy,加上亞仔唔肯用bottle,所以我用咗兩個月就無用囉... :mrgreen:

我都冇decorate 到間屋﹐ 內外都冇﹐ 因為同小肥佬一樣﹐ 就快要搬所以唔會整咁多野﹐ 我都冇係親友係呢度﹐不過我老公既 relatives 就好多﹐ 買不如不買﹐ 慳反D錢。個 e-card web-site 真係唔錯架﹐ 唯一唔好既就係如果無英文名就唱唔到收件人個名囉。我個人議唔好買 Manual breast pump, 我試過Avent Isis Pump﹐ pump到手都軟

﹐ 加上我的手腕痛﹐ pump 到我好忟憎﹐ 終於放棄﹐ 而 Medela Pump, Ameda pump, 呢2 個都唔錯。

我老公又係鐘意玩 poker, 幾年前去 reno 玩﹐ 我同隻狗留係間房到休息﹐ 佢呢就玩到 3 更半夜先返上黎﹐ 早幾個月前係網上玩 poker 又係咁﹐ 玩到上癮﹐ 終於我發鬼脾氣﹐ 終於無玩到﹐ 仲 uninstall 左個 program, 要幫手湊仔嘛﹐ 玩到咁累﹐ 邊個幫我呀 :evil:

I remember they sell "fish bags" in HK for making fish soup and porridge so the bones will not get in. How old is your bb girl now? If she is over 1, then you can give her the fish meat too. My friend feeds her son salmon for lunch w/ rice.

I personally liked the medala pump more. If you plan on pumping a lot, then the electric one is better. If otherwise, then the manual one works great too.

I guess I only pump when I feel my breast get sore and full as I stay home most of my time with baby...But some mommies I knew they just bought both Avent and Medala pumps...

How often you pump? I hear each breast take 20 min to pump by Avent and I don't know how often I need to pump. As I stay home and so if my baby is hungry, I can just give milk to her...

So, I pump only becasue "Gok Milk"....so, I really not sure how often breastfeed mom will "Gok Milk"?

You don't need to pump milk at all after 3 months ?? ?-( I thought each breastfeed mommy will "Gok Milk" and so if you don't pump, you will feel pain....so, that's why I need a pump to prevent pain and "Gok Milk" lor

I will plan to breastfeed my baby til she is 1. But I only plan to have 1 baby....if I plan to have 2, then I defintely will buy Medela.....But my husband's company get discount for Medela pump like $180 for brand new pump, so I am thinking if we get the pump, maybe worth it but only use 1 year.....
Plus I am not sure I have enough milk....so... ?-( ?-(
How long you live in USA? Where are you now? I am in San Jose, CA now and expecting my baby due on Jan 25, 05.

各位,
昨晚我哋一家同埋我老公既朋友去睇boat parade, 同埋睇吓d有錢人點樣decorate 間屋..我哋行咗都有三個鐘,小肥佬就睇足三個鐘..當中又無食奶又無嘈..我哋就更加行到屎屎吓啦..返到屋企都成十一點幾,餵完佢,諗住佢瞓啦,點知唔夠十分鐘,佢又醒,又叫,又喊到拆天又拆地,抱都唔得,到最後成就嚟兩點鐘,佢先肯瞓..唉,可能佢太過excited 啦.所以初初唔肯就咁上床瞓.下星期仲話去christmas party,都唔知去唔去好.. ?-(

To be honest with you, I love playing poker on the internet. I was so crazy about it when I was pregnant. I could play at the mid-night and 8:00 in the morning because I was bored and nothing to do.

. At that time, my husband always complaint to me..Now, I have to take care of mini-matt, I can't play too long for each time, but if I could, I still play a couple times a day.. :mrgreen:

I pumped out my milk to relieve engorgement, that's one reason I bought the breast pump. Unfortunately,after my little boy refused to drink the milk with the bottle, I decided to stop it. At the beginning, I had to suffer my breast getting sore. After a while, engorgement doesn't bother me anymore.

I agree with Natmama, if you are pumping very often, electric pumps are better than hand pumps.

我個仔鐘意 bottle feed, 所以都pump得幾密﹐ 3~ 4 hrs 一次﹐ 有時等佢訓到懵懵地就埋身餵。有時谷得耐﹐ pump 到成 9 ounces, 可以飲 2 餐。有時訓覺既姿勢會做成谷奶﹐千其唔好訓死一面。

我買過Medela breast pump (mini electric), 這較便宜, 但它只可以pump一邊, 一定要pump完一邊才可以pump另一邊，不可以兩邊一齊。由於我沒有太多奶, 所以我只pump了几次。一個月後, I gave up breastfeeding, so I didn't use them again. 其實, 我覺得你不用心急買住, 等bb出世後, 先餵餵人奶, 如果覺得自己適合餵人奶, 再買都未遲。

我的bb還有一個星期就六個月了。我打算中午那餐給他食solid food, 現在他食五餐奶, 大約30安上下。我試過給rice cereral, bean, banana給他食, 他几喜歡食bean. 我打算煲粥, 但未買到煲.
