My 9 mos. old had the same problem last night. I took him to my friend's house to pick up my older daughter last night. My friend has a big Christmas tree full of little lights and a moving train that goes around the tree with loud music. My baby kept looking at it then he got scared and cried. And I knew that he'd have the sleeping problem. Our solution is to give him an extra bottle and it works everytime he got too excited or scared of something during the day. He sleeps through the night when he was 7 weeks old and my daughter sleeps through the night when she was about 10 weeks old. We are so lucky

The chicken breast and the lean pork was for taste only before. Then I started to puree the meat and mix them with the congee when my baby turned 8 months old. I buy the chicken breast from Costco, they are skinless/ boneless & individually wrapped & sealed. I haven't tried fish on my baby yet.

let me go check at costco for the chicken breast. i just started my daughter on rice cereal for 2 weeks. after 1 month, i will start giving her other types of baby food. if okay, then i will start the congee when she turns 6 months.

How old is your bb? My bb didn't tried meat until he was about 7 months. From 5 to 7 mons, all he ate were the different kinds of cereal, vegetables and fruits baby food.

I haven't come to this thread for a long time, glad to see there are so many new comers here. I'm busy at taking care of my baby girl at home, she just turned 2 months old last week. My son is 3.5 years old and he's going to school for full time now.

After my bb boy turned 7 months, I made congee with vegetables and a piece of chicken breast or lean pork. Didn't feed him the meat. I used the hand blender to puree the veg. I also like to steam the squash and sweet potato then add a little water to puree. It's yummy! I don't give juice to him, just water.
Are you going to Casino Morongo? If you want to buy Gucci bag, there is a Gucci Outlet store in Cabazon which is the same exit as Morongo. If you want newer styles, then you should go to South Coast Plaza.

My bb is 4.5 months now. I probably will not make the congee until she is 6 months. In the meantime, I will start buying her the jar bb food for allergy testing. Too lazy to cook everything myself...hehehe...I rather go out... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I just stole :lol: some of that rice from my friend last night and I'll use that to make congee for bb tonight. See if it's really better than the Japanese rice that I've been using.

I've been here for 15 years and I still keep contact with my close friends who went to the same high school in H.K. with me. I used to go back at least 1 or 2 times a year. I haven't been back since 1999 (the year my dayghter was born). I miss my friends, shopping, and food a lot!!!
Next time when you meet with your husband's friends, try to say the sentense on your mind first than say it out. Be confident!!

My bb son is 9 months old already, no more excuse la!! My husband is bad! He would look at the old pictures then look at me and say," What happened??" Then I'd tell him that it's too bad, since he has no receipt and it's been too long, he can't do exchange or refund! :wink: :wink:
