Hin Hin has so much personality and just make him to do if he does't want to. The past week & a half, he throw up every other nights after his bottle of milk. Straight out everything! Don't know what is happening! I am so worry la!
Your BB's eating pattern is OK wor although he is a "small" eater, regarding on the throw out at night... how long it has last for le ?? everynight ??? is he too full ?? is he cried and throw up ?? you may need to find out more... if you think the situation is a bit out of control then you may need to consult the Dr la. Anyway, if he is nearly 1 year only. As per lamlam recommendation, you can try noodle and pasta etc, see if he loves it...
Hi CrazyMama,
Your son is quite light wor. Is he willing to eat? Actually when he is around 1 year old, he should be able to eat approximately 1 kid's bowl of soft rice. At his 9am breakfast, give him some crackers or bread to go with the steam egg. Egg has no calories ah, only protein. You need to give your son some starch to be fat fat.
For the rest of the feeding schedule, it looks quite ok to me though he is not a milk lover. haha. About his throwing up after night milk, you may consider to consult the doctor. It rarely happens to my children. Many doctors will disagree but I would suggest you to give your son 'Ng Tak Mud Chi' (fat boy water) which can be found at Watsons', Mannings and drugstore. It's quite good ah.
lamlam816,
食吳德物次is not to 增肥 ah. It is to soothe the tummy pain of the baby. It's called 'fat boy water' because it has a fat baby on the packing.
It's recommended by my mother and I found it very good to soothe tummy pain/wind. Esp. when babies are growing teeth. Anyway, this is just a suggestion based on past experiences of elderlies.
I just want to stress that the intention of taking 吳德物次 is not to 增肥.
lamlam816,
Oh really? What'd happened to your friend's baby that caused for bb to see the doctor eventually?
No worry, I do not feed that to my kids very often.
Thanks for your comments.
Thx so much for the info... We finally decided to take Hin Hin to see doctor cuz my bubby gets too heart breaking everytime when he sees Hin Hin crys in the Doc office. Well, Doc said Hin Hin nose was not breathing well when he's having his bottle and using his mouth to breath. Air went in... you got the story. He gave us a bunch of medicine.
Got home & try to feed... Hin Hin throw all out! They smell horrible. Any cry & cry. My hubby got so upset. We gave up.
Then we kinda figure it's the training cup that made Hin Hin throw up. Cuz sometimes he plays with it not really drinking but stucking the air in. We stop using the cup and he didn't up these several nights.
About the 肥仔mixture, my neighbor gave me a bottle of Plexin-Y. She said it helps BB to digest. But she told me not to follow the portion according to the box just 1 time not 3-4 times a day. We're giving a try. As y'all said, don't over do!
Well, I am working on to organize a month recipe for BB 粥粥 out of this topic. There're so many good stuffs in here! Once it is finished, will post for sharing la!
Oh... 1 more thing the Doc said... Fish & Chicken is good but Beef & Pork is the real thing to help gain meat wor. Will keep trying la!
