my darling is "see human talk human, see ghost talk ghost' I speak cantonese, my hubby speak english, and his mum in las speak hokien. Alex speaks everything.

Hi Wendyhoy,

My son is 2 years and 5 months old. He is a premature baby (2 months born earlier than expected). I knew that the premature baby will have language delay problem. I already consulted doctor who advised me to wait one more month to see whether consult language therapist is needed. so just "wait and see". Actually, he now can say 1 to 10 and the 24 alphabet, body parts, animals name.. but can't say the phrase.

at 2.5 yrs, he should be in his 2 words phase. but don't worry! my darling was about the same when he was 2. Then we kept talked to him, his speech and language improved a lot just within this 6 months.

you can talk to him one step beyond his speech ability. eg
when he can say "ca...", then you say "car"
when he can say "car", then you say "I want car"
when he can say "I want car", then you may say" playing a car is very fun"

next time when you see your dr, insist him to refer you to the speech therapist. because restructure hospital, like kkh, nuh. there are waiting is very long.

舊飯既理解暫時都係“污sirsir”，試過用佢鍾意既野引佢表達，結果一定係發脾氣收場，所以lee招要睇情況先有得用:(

每次見佢個兒科e生，都有提佢表達問題，但由於舊飯仲細，所以建議一定係多d同佢講野，我同飯ba唔同佢講野唔通同自己講野咩

我做左黑白天鵝好耐喇，希望好快就聽到舊飯講d有意識既單詞→雙詞→短句→長句.............:D

分享下我的意見：
我記得在bao bao開始食粥時，一開始是吃菜心粥，一星期後就加廋肉+菜心，之後就可以轉些不同的菜蔬(之前各位媽咪已經提過)，但我都會加埋廋肉一起煲(猪骨和雞胸肉)在一歲後才加。

而學行車我試過比佢坐(朋友送就試下坐la)，佢坐得好似好開心，

但在polyclinic 聽 talk 時，nurse就不大建議坐，佢重show左一個美國research報告出來tim....之後我就立即叫老公將車收入store room，決心和放膽比bao bao自己學行，其實真係work，加上Sg 住屋比較大，bb可以有好大的活動空間和赤住脚行，所以我覺得可以唔用。如要用就好似bryamami所講買車下有一塊布/膠果隻

~赤脚行要注意地面有否濕滑~
