ANMAC and AHPRA are 2 seperate authorities.ANMAC => skill assessment for your suitability of apply migration visa by that skill
AHPRA => australia registration authority, similar to HK nursing broad
Before 2014, they did the assessment on their own, can say no connection at all.
After 2014, ANMAC request all the applicants obtained the licience before skill assessment.
If you passed the skill assessmnet, you will be granted a letter of determination from ANMAC, then you can proceed to EOI and vis application

In conclusion, the sequence of application is English test->AHPRA->ANMAC->EOI->189/190 visa

I obtianed the Letter of Determination from ANMAC in March 2014 but did not apply the licience from AHPRA at the material time, The Letter of Determination granted in 3 months. I only apply the licience in March 2015. That can explain why I can obtained the visa but still no licience.

For the new comer, you just neglect my application process because it no longer applicable to new applicant who start their migration road this year.

Remember :English test->AHPRA->ANMAC->EOI->189/190 visa

Please correct me if anyone has update.

我想問下, visa 189或190要有至少60分, degree畢業但我只做左RN幾個月, 好似得55分, 咁係唔係一定要申請埋state sponsorship先得?
如果有親人在澳洲有分加嗎?

if your can't get enough point, state sponser give you extra 5, or all 8 in IELＴＳ　ｗｉｌｌ　ｇｉｖｅ　ｙｏｕ　ｅｘｔｒａ　ｐｏｉｎｔ

Tami, 你知唔知RN易唔易拎到State sponsorship? 我見大部份state都有要求至少2年experience先拎到sponsorship..except NSW and Canberra.....

想請問，有無人知道如果香港有RN牌，想過澳洲做返護士，需要再考d乜野資格？？不是移民，本身已經有居民資格，只是回流。

但個RN牌不是澳洲學歷，是在香港考的，謝謝！

應該同我地申請AHPRA 一樣.
1) 你既qualifications 係咪達到AHPRA 的要求? 至少要AHPRA 承認的bachelor Degree.

2) 你讀既課程/學校係咪english taught? (好似係5年Full time 以上係english taught) 如果你由細到大都係澳洲讀書, 應該無問題 . 否則, 一樣要考IELTS / OET

你係咪PR/ CITIZEN 同取澳洲RN 牌應該無乜關係.
