i baked a cake today, but it was very dry and it is not tall. i did add some baking powder, but it is still short :-(

could you teach me how to bake a nice cake.

Try this to see if this work for u? its quite easy and its soft and rise..

材料

雞蛋 250 克(約五隻小蛋)
糖 110 克
麵粉 80 克
冇糖朱古力粉 2 湯匙
鹽 1/8 茶
牛油(煮溶) 40 克
白蘭地酒 1荼匙

(remark: I didn;t add
白蘭地酒... depend if u want it.. think if u have child then better don;t add lor)

裝飾用具

忌廉 250 亳升
士多啤梨 3 粒

製作過程

1.預熱焗爐１6０°Ｃ。鋪牛油紙入蛋糕模。

2. 蛋分蛋

No romantic dinner tonight just ordered a pizza!!he sent me roses and got me a Down coat for my trip to UK.. hehehe.... went out today with Callum to meet up with my usual baby group at a friend's place, it was fun we all made effort to dress them all up for their first Valentine's party.... it was funny cause all the babies was very interested in the "ABC" mats and was chewing on all the letters!

Kiyomi is good, thanks~~Nothing to do in half term wor, just stay at home lor, but I ask my husband to takj one more day off on Sunday, and Monday is his day off as the same as every weeks, then we could go out with his mum, before his mum back to HK(end of Feb.), I knew where do U move la, Kitchu told me, when I called her.....yes la, so far away from me....:-( :-( :-(

When is your daughter's half term

This week or next week

Twins have to go to School Disco tomorrow night, then start half term on Friday, and back to School at 26/2......

Between Avani or Nivana, i think Nivana's nicer! it's good have have speacial meaning in your baby's name, same as Zenia we had to think of all the possible nicknames that will come from baby's name before we decided on the name!

such a headache!

i think i will try it on saturday when we come back from london. but, i can't see your cake's picture wor

by the way, i mentioned my cake was a bit dry, then my hubby put some ready made custard with it, it taste better.

i thought you are bottle feeding kiyomi, so you can warm up the milk or water when she cannot finish in one go. but don't give it to her again if the leftover is more than 30 mins.

I got a large bunch of flowers + a box of chocolates +a card for tonight, but no special gift ar. we are going to london tomorrow and will come back on friday night.

係呀，我係bottle feeding kiyomi，但佢每次都係半個鐘度finish，之間掃一次風囉~~
