You asked about sharing of other pensions in Hokkaido. After Cottage Himawari, we stayed at Tomte Rum at Biei for 1 night. It was very good indeed, different from Himawari. It is like brand new (2 years old to be exact). You can still smell the wood. It is kept very clean down to every corner. The pension has 5 rooms (apart from those private ones used by the owner). The night we stayed there, we were the only foreign family. Four families brought kids there. Food was good too. Just outside the pension, they put a table with a sunshade, right next to a small field of sunflowers. My son enjoyed sketching there & we took quite a few photos there too. The lady owner spoke english, the man owner kept himself in the kitchen. In the end when we checked out, both of them were very kind to take pictures with us & say goodbye the Japanese way, by standing & bowing until we were out of sight. I almost forgot to share 1 thing - their bathtub. The owner introduced the facilities to me & when she mentioned the bathroom, she asked me to inform her once I finished bath such that she could clean it up. At first I thought she needed not clean it until my whole family finished bath. There is indeed a reason for it, a good one - they prepare hot water in a big (& brand new) bath tub for us kept at 40 degrees. So after a tired day, you can immerse in the hot bath with 2 little duckies. Brilliant. I highly recommend it.

件和服喺中富良野附近, 國道237路旁一間好大嘅 “Bestcom”到買, 呢間野超大, 好似美國supermarket咁, 由食物, 衣物到家電都有, 價錢就好平, 2000yen咋. :lol:

唔怪得嗰晚你哋飯後出去, 跟住大包細包咁返嚟啦, 我同老公都諗, 咁夜仲可以shopping嘅

. 如果我哋早d發現呢間嘢, 我諗我哋都會咁

, 可惜我哋係離開富良野, 出發去旭山動物園時先見呢間嘢, 但因趕時間, 行咗唔夠半個鐘就走, 回程已搬去美瑛住, 所以再冇路過入去行囉. 而亞女著和服都係28號住美瑛, 專登買比佢兩老表當晚著去肚臍祭湊熱鬧. :mrgreen:
