All your message, I had a same feeling. I am a full-time mom, but I never to think I can hire a nanny in here. I think the insurance is high and my living area has no Chinese nanny. ( I guess ) My bb is almost 20 month-old, so I think your bb age almost mine, but my bb is a girl. Normally, she is ok. Of course, sometimes bb made me mad. I watched Super Nanny too, I just think if my bb will change to ... How can I do? Anyway, be a full -time mom is a rough work, without private time ( so I sleep late ) , sometimes, I will stay home a few days and don't want go out.

I also think I will take bb by myself for a trip to HK, however; when I think I need take bb without stroller and walk in the busy street and carry my big diapar bag, etc,... ( I dare not to think la...) later la...

Your bb is cute. Duck in the pee pee ... I also took my bb shower photo, but I use something to hide her body, no show 3 points. he...he... ( girl ma... )

Little fat man and natmama,

Now your bb is roll-over when change diaper, but do you know, they will run away in the future ! I use different methods to make my bb lay down in the change pat.

Isn't your bb first time got the " rose xx "? take care bb, don't let her blow wind. After fever, the rose xx appear and will back to normal. Don't worry!

Congratulations , I am happy to know you have a "Big" bb. You are a super mommy! Feel your feeling - Happy ! Take care yourself too ! Take rest when your bb sleep!

The Rose rash is a normal rash. BB will have fever a few days, when the fever gone, the face and body will appear red dot dot and then 2-3 days the skin will back to normal.

About the cooking, same as you. I did not cook when I was in HK. I found out I am not interesting for this. however; no cook no meal here, so I copy the cook book when I cook ( HK cook book )
Now, I always use pork/chicken with different vegetables. Tonight I stream fish with ginger. I special like to cook Chinese soup. It is very easy. Put a chicken/ pork bone with Chinese herb. Boiling 3 hours. You can buy a package of Chinese herb from 99 Ranch Supermarket , Tak Shing Hong , Shun Fat Supermarket, etc... ) :-P

thank you for your cooking tips...i think women are so much better off in hk becuz hiring help is so cheap and easy. i never have to cook either before married and bb. what city do you live? seems like we have the same supermarkets. :wink: :wink:

thank u thank u all mommies.
I am so happy that Ryan is finally out haha.. yea.. he's been giving me a very hard time when he was in my tummy.
anyway. he's being a good boy cus he sleeps all the way at night (about 5 hrs) without waking up crying for food/ changing diapers.
I am hoping he will be like this later on too..
yea.. i have a question wanna ask you guys. Ryan is having hiccups after eating milkmilk (i sometimes bf him w @@ and sometimes feed him w bottle.) i burp him for like 10-15 mins after feeding him milkmilk by bottle. is that b/c i didnt burp him long enough? his grandma always feeds him water to stop the hiccups, which i dont really like. is there any other way to stop that beside feeding him water???

My husband works at Airline Company, so we can have a great discount on air ticket. However, he will change his job on the coming Friday. The benefit will cut in next month. So I want to go to HK in next month with my BB. I hope my husband will come with me. Indeed he can’t. And I can’t imagine go to HK with a lot of stuff, so I have to cancel my plan.

I heard from people that BB boys like to play their pee pee. It is normal. My bb boy likes to play his ears.

My little one goes back to sleep between 11 pm and 1 in the morning. After 3 hours,he will cry and I have to hold him until he goes back to sleep . After 4 hours, he wakes up again and I feed him this time. During the night , I have to get up to check on him a couple times because he may sleep on his tummy.

His sleep-wake patterns has changed, there's nothing I can do really. Now I'm trying to read the story before 30 mins in his bedtime, I hope it could help. Everyday I just think about his teething, that will be even worse..

Now he blows his spit, does your little girl do the same thing ?
Mine prefers remote controls. He throws a fit a little bit when I take it out from his hands.

When I was in HK, I didn't cook either, even sewing. My brother cooks better than me ...

My son blew his spit in these two days. I looked at him and said "not good". He stopped a while and blew it again. I hoped he will forget this trick quickly. He played the spit when he is 5mons old and didn't play it for a long time. I don't know why he blew spit again. :cry: :cry:

我成日煮beef stew, 好方便, 預備時間大約20分鐘, 料:
2 cans tomatoes stews (地門牌) ( no salt added )
1 can Henz tomato sauce
1 盒超市牛肉 (切好一粒粒個D)
1 onion
some garlic
3 bay leaves (i just use the dry one)
some herbs ( garlic salt, black pepper, or " italian herbs " - 一樽有晒全部herbs )
1 cup carrot (切一舊舊)
1 cup potatoes (切一舊舊)
1/2 cup cabbage
1/2 cup celery
將所有料放晒落個煲到煲佢1 1/2 鐘至2 個鐘, 得閒搞下!
多水就加粟粉收水, 咁就食得! 我老公鐘意用面包黎點黎食, 我鐘意加飯食. 2人份量食到2晚. 鐘意可加chicken stock.

打撕"EGG" 好正常, 可以俾多兩啖人奶佢飲 (俾水都可以), 不過如果你飲formula 就要沖有D麻煩, 打撕EGG 同你掃風係無關係, 你可以由得佢打, 好多BB打打下就訓著咗, 係正常,　你可以叫老公買D 天書睇下! 我覺得 "what to expect the first yeat" 幾好，　amazon.com 都有得買，　你就唔使出街買，好方便！

Today, it's very hot, the temperture is 108 degree now.. Geez......Crazy !!!!! ?-(
I just walked by the pre-school which is close to my house. The fee is $120 for 5 full-day (6:30am-6:00pm), $90 for half-day...it's expensive ?

the pre-school in my area has full days and half days with potty program, just a little more money.Maybe you should ask yours if they have the same program as mine.

It's funny becuz I saw a commercial on TV on how to cook beef stew in the crockpot. It's a package and even the meat is inside...i'm lazy...hehehe...I will give your recipe a try...hopefully i won't screw up...hehehe

My daughter played with her spit when she was 4 months...now she finally stopped...but she likes to make "boo boo" noise when she's mad. She also knows how to say "dad dad" ...isn't she bad...don't call mama first

After you told me about mini-matt liking the remote, I tried putting it near my daughter and she also went for it...she tried pressing on the buttons. I also noticed she changes position in her sleep alot. Sometimes she wakes up on the opposite side of the bed and sometimes diagonal in her bed with head in the bed corner.

Your Ryan is good bb wor...sleeping for 5 hrs straight already. I think hiccups are normal too becuz my bb used to do that a lot when she was first born. I just leave her alone becuz the doctor said not to give her any water. I don't think it has to do with burping. Hiccup also means the bb sucked in cold air or just went peepee or poopoo

I think the preschool you mentioned is very reasonable. I checked out the one that Whalebb was talking about...they want $500 for just 3 days plus extra $2-$3/day for lunch. When do you plan to start mini-matt in preschool...i think i will start natalie when she's 3 so i can have some
free time

因去買開果個Dr Chan 唔開 on Sun.
我昨日afternoon去番Dr Chan度佢話我bb不是出玫瑰疹是"food allergy"
我bb比人[size=large]斷錯症
我也覺得好奇怪因玫瑰疹無理由出面先同應燒二三日生出
個樣又唔似我大女出果d
Anyway我bb也要stay home唔出得街街住

I am living in Manhattan Beach. We just move here. Lucky, we still find one supermarket close us. ( 99 Ranch supermarket ) others store I mention to you, it was a few month before when we lived in San Bernardino. When that time, we like go to Rowland Heights shop Chinese food. I found out Shun Fat supermarket is cheaper than 99 Ranch.

Tomorrow, my bb will get the second flu shot. Hope bb is ok. How about you? Did you check your dr. have stock?

Thanks for your information. I know I can take the stroller in a flight, but my HK home is a old building. I need walk the stair 5 floor, so that I think it is not easy to do that.

When I remembered some experiences. I had a HK friend visited me last October, I took bb with her join local tour. I also took everything, but the driver ( join chinese local tour ) always did not like to give back my stoller. He said no place to take the stroller, no place to xx, xx. My HK friend thought it is real. Of course, I insist I need take out my stoller with bb. In fact, the Chinese driver don't want open the gate, he lazy. This is very different I go to travel with Foreign people ( White people ). They have patient to let me settle down stroller and wait us without trouble.

I prefer join cruise more or a family ride ourself for vacation. It is because my husband do not interesting travel in HK and he just change job. So, I think only me and bb has free time. But, I still hesiate my able?
