Primary Schools (Primary 1 to 6) - HK$ 66,100 paid over 10 months
Secondary Schools (Year 7 to 11) - HK$ 98,000 paid over 10 months
Secondary Schools (Year 12 to 13) - HK$ 102,000 paid over 10 months

BTW.... 咁多年原來高中都仲未過一萬

Po Kok Primary is a Buddhism school la, now most of the students are Nepalese/Sikh, teach in small class and classified as "特殊教育" and hence no "banding" info release to public. It also had no connected 2ndary school. which mean they will have to prepare to take the full pressure in competing a 2nd seat~~~it could not be an easy life.

On the other hand, I agreed with BJ, if it is the venue to be through, consider Sir Ellis Kadoorie which is a well-known gov school specialized for minority students, also in small class(23-25p) and it has related 2ndary school (Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School, in W. KOWLOON?), and consider the best school for this type of schools .

Under the current game set, you have to put primary+secondary as a set to consider. Inbuilt children with patient and toughness discipline in youth is not a bad thing, rather it's quality one needed to go thro dire times ah.

this is just tuition, not including other fees, you also need to pay deposit, RCL

no money no talk, but should still be a lot cheaper than other international schools

this is what i understand about ESF.

they go by the ranking system,

so for the case of Luke. Because　蕉媽 is hong kong chinese with no overseas passport. so the sch will automatically assume that Luke know and understand chinese.

That will put Luke in catergory 2 or 3, and will have lower priority comparing to kids that has both parents being foreigner or both holding foreign passport.

Then also, this year they have started the 500k levy, to give priority to jump the q if you really want to get into the sch ...

so that is one of the reason why my husband hate the sch esf, he thinks they are just for making money .

if you go to the expat forum, they are having a lot of talk about it and a lot of foreigner are thinking more of sending kids to local sch or private sch because of that .
