Drinking a little bit of 薏米水 is good for baby rashes, but it might be too strong for newborn. Wait until 6-7mth if the condition does not improve.

My daughter had the stomach virus and she didn't go to school for 4 days last week. She has recovered but it's now my bb son's turn. BTW, he turned 11 months old yesterday =). I think BB is just teething. He has no fever and had vomiting once.

Thanks for sharing Chloe's pictures with me. Miss Bee looks so cute! How did you loss about 25 lbs in 3 weeks? I weighted about the same as you and I only lost 20 lbs for the first couple of months. And I still carry the extra with me

About the notary for birth certificate and marriage license, you can order a 2nd original draft from hong kong. I remembered I have a couple original copies of my birth certificate and it's all stamped by the gov't. I'm so excited for you to see your husband soon. Good luck. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I do the same as you and give my daughter the pajamas with feet to sleep. Sometimes she even wears the clothes with feet during the day because it's cold. Do you give mini-matt an undershirt? I usually give her a onesie inside. :-P :-P I think my daughter is definitely a "巴渣 mu"...

I brought her to my office when she was 2 months and she was cooing to my friends already

I just noticed recently that she will fake cry and go "woo woo" to get attention. So bad ?-( ?-(

As my babies are eating more and more table foods, I am thinking that might be I need to get the organic food for them. However, there is quite a big different in price. The meat usually are 3-5x of the regular meat. It is a tough call, I would like to get the best to my babies, but I would like to save some $$. Does anyone feed their kids with organic only food?

While I am surfing the web, I see tons of ads saying that we can work from home and be our own boss, on a flexible schedule, and can earn good $$? I have a feeling that those ad might be a scam, but there are so many of them from web. Does anyone heard any stories about this type of work?

You can try ebay, they have different individual sellers selling the leap frog toys, you can email them and see if they can mail the product oversea. Hope this helps.

Congratulations!! 好替你高興, 終於可以一家團聚了。不用這麼緊張, 因為美國移民局需要寄信回香港,it takes a few days, 所以你老公還未收到做良民證的信，好快他就會收到啦。收到之後去旺角做, 然後有關部門會將結果直接寄給香港的美國領事館。
我在大陸出世的, 由於我小時移民往香港時已做了公證, 所以沒有問題。

Tell you the truth, I have to rock my baby at night and I did not sleep full night since she was born :-( , Plus I have no appetite to eat junk food as I did before. I only drink soup (Ginger pig feet, Papaya pig feet,...e.t.c) and regular sitting moon food. Anyway I am stuck in 174 now and did not drop too much :cry: I guess after my parent back to HK, I will lose more cos no one help me and I will able to lose more

For chicken soup, I will use whole chicken and I will remove skin first and then put some ginger and some "Kam Wa Fire Leg" in hot water. Then, put chicken into it. I take 1.5 to 2 hr to cook but taste very good.

Congrat to your newborn, sitting month is hard but rewarding if you take good care and eat good.
I have been in NY for more than 3yrs, my son is 2yrs old now. I watch jade tv everyday for hk news so as to keep myself update of of HK counterpart, but jade tv did not have that hot korean drama, so bad!!!

Mini-matt took the 3rd shot today, he cried after the second..Now he weighs 18.5 lbs and is 29" long...It seems like he isn't growing as fast as before, but the doctor said, he's prefect and a pretty tall boy...
Mini-matt liked cooing before 4-5 months old, but now he just wants to do something else instead, like exploring the new things, bothering his mom (ME)...

I don't eat pork, so I just ate the chicken soup when I was in " sitting moon"... Now my weight is going back to normal, but my tummy tuck still sticks on me, I really want my fat to come off, what should I do ? Do you have any idea ? ?-( ..

How's your bb ? I'm worried about my bb's teething too, his disposition is unstable, he bites everything, sucks my toe and wakes up a couple times at night. He pooped a lot in this few days , so he has a diaper rash.. :-| , it hurts him a lot. He refuses to change the diaper.. :cry: ...

5'8 at 125lbs...model figure wor....very jealous ah...

My daughter is already 6 months and I still weigh 120lbs and I'm only 5'3...hai

I gained 30 lbs thru my pregnancy and was able to lose 20 pretty quickly...but the last 10lbs is still stuck on me...tummy...butt...thigh....hai~~

I don't know how to lose the rest...very frustrated sometimes.

If I remembered correctly, you twins are over 1 year old. Have you thought of feeding them regular food instead of organic bb food. My friend started feeding her son regular food (fish, beef, chicken) with rice when her son turned one and it made her life so much easier/cheaper. She just has to make them more soft and not so salty

Little Fat Man,

I noticed my daughter is losing patience with her toys more quickly now. She wants me to be with her and play with her more than before. I'm wondering if she's at the age where they have separation anxiety. How is mini-matt's diaper rash? Do you apply any A&D Ointment or Desitin for him...Natalie had diaper rash ones when she was 2 months and it went away in 2 days after i used the A&D ointment...you can find them at target. Do you have cable for the HK Jade Channel, the news is almost same day. I also subscribe to apple newspaper to read about hk news/gossip. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

My bb is feeling better. Thanks! His poo poo is yellowish, waterery, and smells sour. And I've checked his jaws, he has 4 teeth coming at the top and 2 at the bottom. He already has 5 bb teeth. How's your bb's diaper rash? I think all diaper rash ointment helps.

Do u live in San Jose? I used to live in San Jose long time ago and I still go to the San Jose, Milpitas, Saratoga, Cupertino areas all the time. When we "da bin low" at home, we drive all the way to the Japanese supermarket in Saratoga or San Mateo to buy the Shabu Shabu beef.
Wow! You are 5'8 and weighted only 125 lbs before! I'm 5'7 and big boned. My prime time weight was about 135 lbs!! One year I went back to HK with my friend and we both saw a doctor for weight loss. We took diet pills & my weight went down to 125 lbs in 2 weeks!! I looked too skinny & unhealthy! I even felt dizzy and weak. I fainted one time and by the time I woke up, I was just next to the toilet bowl at home!!!

Happy Valentine's Day on Monday!
I remembered the first Valentine's Day my daughter was born, she was only 2 months old. My husband and I wanted to go out for a nice dinner and a movie so we've asked my friend's mom to watch bb for us. During the whole dinner, we talked about our new bb but nothing else. The more we talked about her, the more we missed her. So, we decided to finish up our French dinner and skip the movie. We rushed to pick her up and we were so happy!!

I did try A&D Ointment, it didn't seem work for my little boy, it took 4-5 days to wait for diaper rash going away..Destine's good, but I don't have any ..Now I use Balmex, it works a little .. At this time, he poops at night, I can't change him as frequent as in the day time..Last night, he couldn't sleep good, he woke up every 1-2 hours, and cried. I had to soothe and hold him everytime..I believe that the diaper rash really bothers him a lot ..Now I read some information about diaper rash, I should clean his butt with plain cool water, not baby wipes because the chemicals in these two make the sore skin worse.

I have cable, but I didn't subscribe Jade TV because my husband doesn't want me to stick on TV all day (sometimes he can read my mind). Now he always says to me, " nohelp.com is your website." .. :mrgreen: ...

what did you do before feeling dizzy ? just because of walking ? did it happen before ? I hope you're fine now...
I breastfeed my little boy, he never makes any noise when he's sucking...So I can't tell you how to encode " hehe her her"...But my little one will spits up if he drinks too much for milk..Just like yesterday , when his daddy was holding him , he spited up on his shirts twice... :lol: ...( he's such a good boy.)
At the beginning, mini-matt could sleep 2-3 hours in the day time, maybe more...But now he's getting worse, only naps 30mins - 1 hour ...

his diaper rash bothers him a lot, he's so irritable. When I change his diaper,he will push my hands away, roll over , scream and cry, it breaks my heart.. :cry: ...
I weighted 118 lbs in my prime time , even though I only ate 2 small bags of rice noodles all day..

I never take any diet pills because i'm afaird of side effect..

My husband didn't like the kid before. After our bb, he loves him so much, he will sing to him in public if my bb's wiggle . One day, his friend laughed at him..He said " I don't care, I still hate another kids, except my mini-matt." :mrgreen: ...After work, he will say " I wanna see his (mini-matt) head." ...He's a good daddy...

You're right, when mini-matt poo poos, just put his whole butt into warm water and rinse it off. That's what I did when Natalie had her diaper rash. She didn't even noticed any pain when I was cleaning her in the water.

Did you buy the ingredients for the cheesecake yet? To make it easier, you can buy the ready made pie crust from the supermarket. It's in the baking section. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I'm also afraid to take diet pills becuz of side-effects. I wish I can just control my appetite and eat less. When I'm bored at home and my bb is sleeping, I would scout around for snacks....

...very bad habit. My parents/grandparents lives a few block away and every time I go visit, my grandma ask if I'm hungry and I love her cooking.

Did any of you buy a walker for your bb to learn walking? I'm debating if I should get one for Natalie. I read some information on "American Academy of Pediatric" and they were against buying walkers because of all the injuries in children caused by it. Any advice? ?-( ?-(

dear natalie's mom,
Yesterday, I left a message for a parent whom wanna refused the request from relatives, that push her to buy the walker... as I am a nurse and a child care worker, I would suggest that you better not to do so... really no good for your infant..
1. for us in USA... if you are stay home mom, why not watch your kid by yourself.. put her on your lap and read a story.. or play with her, or let her lay on the floor .. to learn to sit and crawl..
if you are working mom, she should be watched by a nanny or someone you know.. that is her/his job to take care of your infant... not the walker's responsibility..
2. walker is not a nanny..
3. misunderstanding for your Natalie that she can walk already.. however, research told us, walker will prolong your infant the ability to walk.
4. Walk won't teach your infant to walk
5. walk with tip toes.. not on her bare feet..
6. the incidents occure every years... and your read the AAP reports.. and you still consider to buy one..
Natalie's mami... please... think one more time before you buy it..
