try a simple one as warm up: inhale 4 seconds and exhale 8 seonds by both nostrils, 20 rounds, 30 rounds....etc, if you know Ujjaji, use it, if not, normal breathing is ok

Ujjayi Pranayama is called the ocean sounding breath because you make an ocean sound by contracting the glottis with the inhalation and exhalation. This Pranayama is done through the nose, but it is helpful to begin practicing breathing through the mouth. To make the ocean sound, whisper the syllable "h," feeling the contraction in your throat. Keep this contraction engaged on the inhalation and exhalation. After a couple of breaths try to close the mouth, breathing through the nose while still making the ocean sound in your throat.

人体要想燃烧脂肪需要三个必要条件,缺一不可:

  第一个重要条件:该运动要达到中低强度的运动心率。何谓中低强度的运动心律,如何计算?这里有一个公式,大家可以根据这个公式计算对于自己来说中低强度运动心率是多少。

  公式:中低强度运动心率=(220-年龄)×60%--(220-年龄)×80%

  举例来说,一个二十岁的人,对他来说,中低强度的运动心率就是(220-20)×60%--(220-20)×80%=120--160次,也就是说他的中低强度的运动心率是120次/分钟到160次/分钟之间,低于120次/分钟或者高于160次/分钟,均不算中低强度的运动心率,燃烧的均不是脂肪。甩脂机通过抖动引起你身体被动运动不可能使你达到中低强度的运动心率,也就说不上燃烧脂肪了。

  第二个重要条件:这种中低强度运动心率下的运动要持续20分钟以上,这样才能达到燃烧脂肪的目的。你在甩脂机上即使因为其他原因偶尔使心率达到中低强度,但是也绝对不可能维持20分钟以上,其减肥效果更是无从谈起。

  第三个重要条件:这种运动必须是大肌肉群的运动,即慢跑、游泳、健身操等运动项目。举个例子,麻将是典型的小肌肉群运动,因为紧张等因素,有人打麻将时心率可以达到中低强度,而且能持续很长时间,超过二十分钟,但由于它不是大肌肉群的运动,所以不能达到减脂的效果。而甩脂机引起的被动运动也是小肌肉群的运动,也是绝对不可能达到减脂目的的。

Ujjayi
Ujjayi is often called the "sounding" breath or "ocean sounding" breath, and somewhat irreverently as the "Darth Vader" breath. It involves constricting the back of the throat while breathing to create an "ah" sound -- thus the various "sounding" names.


Benefits

Focuses the mind
Increases mindfulness
Generates internal heat

How to do it

1. Come into a comfortable seated position with your spine erect, or lie down on your back. Begin taking long, slow, and deep breaths through the nostrils.

2. Allow the breath to be gentle and relaxed as you slightly contract the back of your throat creating a steady hissing sound as you breathe in and out. The sound need not be forced, but it should be loud enough so that if someone came close to you they would hear it.

3. Lengthen the inhalation and the exhalation as much as possible without creating tension anywhere in your body, and allow the sound of the breath to be continuous and smooth.

To help create the proper "ah" sound, hold your hand up to your mouth and exhale as if trying to fog a mirror. Inhale the same way. Notice how you constrict the back of the throat to create the fog effect. Now close your mouth and do the same thing while breathing through the nose.

When to do it

During asana practice
Before meditation
Anytime you want to concentrate

佢今日都有同我講唔好意思呀, 佢twist 我條spine twist 到我叫左出黎呀!

做果個twist spine 動作 (上半身有少少似掌上壓果個), 佢要我地兩個pat pat 都掂住mat... 好難囉 .

dear all..
re : my philippines diving trip
hmm.... arrived today evening..
Weather was not good, typhoon there, but we can dive normally 2 dives per day... total 7 dives (yesterday 3 dives, our team-9 persons are all crazy guys) & went to sightseeing....

Ate a lot...breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner.... all back to normal! need to burn my fat from today! will upload the photos soon.
