Thank you for your prompt reply. The point is there is no answer from Filippine yet. My agent told me that the difference should be much greater. Is it worth or too risky to book a ticket from HK for the maid? I can hv holidays till 1.1.08 only.

我比個印印真係激到:-( , 我同佢已續第4個contract, 09年5月約滿, 之前都爭扎好無同佢繼續合作, 好多人都叫我唔好, 因為佢地做得太耐好麻煩, 但我同佢關係幾好, 佢都算純品, 我個細仔又出世, 諗住做生不如做熟, 同佢續左約, 點知越做佢d態度越衰, 同我個大仔(only 6 yrs old) 都攪佢唔掂, 已經由細湊大, 佢咁大個人可以同個細路仔咬交, 我亦見過佢多次用d 不肖態度面口黎對我個仔, 撩起我個仔d脾你, 笑下佢, 個仔就唔開心, 兩個一日到黑同我互相投訴, 仲鬧我個仔痴線,賤格

早幾日, 仲遲左去湊我個仔放學, 我打極都揾唔到佢(個電話我特登出比佢, 已多次叫佢一定要留意電話, 因我10次有8次係無人聽, 佢多理由, 又話無電, 又話聽唔到

我多次警告, 唔可以再係咁), 佢今次又係多多理由無聽到電話, 我嬲到爆炸, 返黎狂鬧, 我對你既要求, 只係 1.唔好黑口黑面, 2. 要聽我個電話 3. 對小朋友要好, 但你次次都係咁, 你想點呀, 佢黑口黑面, 唔覺自己錯! 婆婆叫佢食飯, 唔可以唔食野架, 佢話唔食呀, 我話你又唔食野, 佢又黑口黑面咁答我 " 唔食" 我話咁你以後都唔好食la , 佢竟然答 "好呀"

我真係忍無可忍la, 但佢又話想繼續做, 唔係想走, 但我會做定prepare 佢再係咁, 我唔忍la, 會即炒!

我想問 :
1. 我可唔可以出因為以上事情以口頭warnung 佢, 是否夠3次就可以即炒, 唔駛補1個月人工呢, 定要出warning letter呢?

2. 我要補d 咩錢佢走呢? 長期服務金....?

3. 係咪唔駛agent or 第3者在塲, 我都可以照比佢簽收都有效?

4. 如果我叫佢即走, 佢唔肯走咁點呀?

5. 有咩要注意呢?

我工人下年3月約滿, 而我朋友想僱用她.....
1) 是否如新僱主新合約申請般提供文件, 而不是續約呢?
2) 若這不是續約般辦手續, 在辦理時便是新約, 那工人是否仍不須返她國家亦可呢? 是否同時在第一年出入境大陸或澳門便可?
3) 如做新約, 除辦理合約手續費用外, 工人是否另付款項呢?
4) 若工人下年3月中完約, 新約須何時開始申辦呢?

我工人下年5月就完約,想同佢續多2年, 即第2份! 想知:

1) 佢可以返家幾多日? 2年即有14日假(2WEEKS定14 WORKING DAYS)?
2) 比機票係唔係又規定咩機票, 如可以改/幾多日有效期? 仲要比DAILY ALLOWANCE佢係回家期,定只係比由我家去HK AIRPORT及PHIL AIRPORT到HOME的車費?
3) 佢回港後, 要做BODYCHECK?
4) 新合約開始頭三個月的P.H. 無得放有薪假?

仲有無邊D嘢要留意??

另如果想EXTEND佢VISA多一年, 佢去一去MACAU一日再回港,I.D.就會比佢嗎? 咁佢真係要回家時, 是否比21日假佢?

請提點吓??

Air Freight Cost issue

我想抄現工人, 我要給她hk至菲之機票, 另她合約之住址為: Pontevedra Negrus, Occidental.
另要給她多少$由Manila去她的居所?
另請她時是local hire, 她即到我家上工未有回鄉, 至今做了9個月, 是否仍要補她菲至hk 之飛機票費?

可以唔返印尼，計返大假錢俾佢，至於機票折唔折現俾佢就你自己要同佢講請楚，法例無講工人唔放假，旅費要折現架。

第3年8日大假，第4年9日，第5年10日，第6年11日。 ...

你可以叫Agency幇你搞，其實我現在也要抄我的工人。

Re Passport re-new in HK

Dear Mrs. Rose,

Me again need your help with thanks. My present Bun's passport will be expired on Mar., 08. If she re-new the passport in HK, how long does it take her to get the new one. I mean from the date to apply till she got the new one. Thanks. How much?

Dear Mrs. Rose,

This is the first time I hire a maid. However, I have problem:
1. 14 Dec. this is the original date the maid show up at HKG. But, my agent that she has no money to pay the deposit to her Manila agent. So, cannot come to HKG and need to posephone the date to hkg on 17 or 18 Dec.
2. However, at 17, 18 Dec. She still has no money to pay to manila agent. Still cannot come to HKG. And she said that she will pay at 19 Dec.

I have questions:
1. if she still has no money to pay ( or whatever reason ) cannot come to HKG on time/schedule, what should I do?
2. Why the HKG agent has no responsibility ? the agent only told me that this is out of her control . I really feel dispointed!
3. When can I get back the contact from my agent if my maid come to HKG on time? ( as until this moment, my agent didn't give me any document such as contract back to me ).
4. If the maid finally doesn't show up , can I ask to change to another maid ? ( the agent already charged me the agent fee ) if so, then everything such as visa permit, confirmation from the MNL embrassor ) should be re-start again ?
5. I have already paid the " tax " to Government, How to handle this tax ?( I mean if I change to another maid )

玫瑰妳好:

工人會於下年5月到期而只想和她完約了事.因用了快四年但是越來越不像話了.

想問:
1. 完約須否事先通知？

2.機票那裡買好,可否以錢代票？(泗水)

3.應否早一些放她走...完約是5月18日,
有14天大假. 給她在港找工作: 又或是可以讓她早些回泗水？這個我比較擔心,因聽過
如在這十多天中工人有意外我們要負責,但保險公司不保.怕要全數負擔.

4. 要通知現有的agent嗎？當約滿那天要交她回agent嗎？

5 可否以薪代假？

只係2月9-23日佢人在菲律賓, 2月15日續不到約, 應何時去續較妥. 謝謝!

你工人走之前先攪好合約及所有文件，回港後立即去入境處Renew visa即日有可取新visa。

I just signed the green contract at agent today. I employed a finished contract Indo maid. I would like to know how fast that the maid can get the working visa.

I have sent an expedition letter for Immigration Dept to the agent. Usually how long to proceed at Indo Consulate and how fast from Immigration Dept?

The estimated time for standard processing is such:
Indo Consulate - 3 days

Upon submission of visa application to HK Immigration till receiving the White Card/VCA number - 7 to 10 days

After that then your expedition letter will be submitted (because need to quote the VCA number on the letter)

Standard processing time at HK Immigration is around 6 weeks to approve and release the visa. With accepted reason for urgent release can be anywhere around 3 to 4 weeks.

You have to also take into account the holidays, weekends, speed of your agent etc.

With so many and long holidays coming and with the new type of Philippines passport being release, it best you or your maid call the Philippines Consulate to check.

ANS: If she had to postpone twice because of that same reason, its unlikely she is able to come at all. Be prepared to make another selection.

ANS: The financial issue of the maid is beyond the HK Agent control. If the maid couldn't pay, the Philippines Agent cannot afford to do the processing for her too. However you agent should monitor and manage better to minimize the possibility of having such last minute problem.

3. When can I get back the contact from my agent if my maid come to HKG on time? ( as until this moment, my agent didn't give me any document such as contract back to me ).
ANS: Normally it will be given to you when you receive the maid. You can ask for it from them now if you want.

ANS: This depends on the service agreement with your agent.

ANS: Unused tax can be transferable. Especially if your maid didn't show up at all.

I am not sure if you can book Discounted Maid Ticket from HK to send to Philippine. But I doubt there is any difference on getting the seat.
