James, you are so bad.............saying out what I think deep in my heart...haha. Anyway, I still waiting for the result from AHPRA. But recently, I had reviewed the website of ANMAC, I still think that is not impossible to get the grant from ANMAC before AHPRA licience. According to the website, you can only apply for modify assessment if you got the AHPRA licience, moreover, it also state that you can apply for a full assessment if you didn't get any licience.
All along I didn\'t read from ANMAC website that they require applicants to get license before issue of outcome. But seems that recent applicants were informed of such change which is not included in the website.
Just contacted HKU School of Nursing general office, it is confirmed that the Hong Kong Nursing Council is the only external accreditation body for HKU School of Nursing. If AHPRA doesn\'t recognize it is a valid external accreditation body, then it is very likely that a bridging course is a must. The GO staff also believes that it is very unreasonable and forces us to take a bridging.
Just contacted HK Australia Consulate office, the staff said they can provide such service. HKD$170 per document. No need to book an appointment in advance, 0900-1300 on every Wednesday. Here is the contact no. for queries:2827 8881
I just got the reply from AHPRA that my application is refused because of the criteria 2 and they asked me to take the bridging. They said that i didn't provide the evidence , but poly U sent that letter to AJPRA already. Should i ask for the appeal?? BUT the interesting thing is my friends brother also from poly u with the same BSN course granted the registration AND my agents client from PWH nursing school also granted the registration, they both submitted the same letter which is downloaded from AHPRA website and they also filled in the nursing council of hong kong as the regulatory authority, and so do i . WHY the outcome is different?
What can i do now? appeal or take that bridging?
Your friend\'s brother and agents client also graduated similar year and file application at similar time? And do you know are they sending application in same office? I am thinking the practice of each office may be different.
JamesFoo thanks for your information!!!!! glad to know that my little ED experience would be recognized..i have completed BLS courses already, may take advanced level later...may I know that what's the difference between HK and Australia's ED?
If I have a chance to be employed in the wards other than ED?
