haha... 生完後 don't need to 睇tv la. 睇 bb mah! :D

Anyway, in the hopsital I went to, TV is free -- before and after. I watched TV for the whole day as I was waiting for the induction medicine to kick in.

Anyway, I had epidual when I dialated for 4cm. I ate ginger fried rice right before I left for the hospital. But turned out I needed to wait for the induction gel to ripe the cervic first before they can put in the pintocin, so the nurse actually gave me a meal to eat. I think it was turkey/chicken with veggi soup (The soup very tasty ah!), a jello and some fruit or so. After bb born, I ate the meal there too. I finished the whole plate.

不過我開3度時就打左針啦, 所以唔痛, 又眼訓, 都訓左好耐, 又睇下tv咁, 都ok既..
係呀..好攪笑架..未生前既room睇tv係free架..但生完後上另一間room, 睇tv要比錢..

平常我係屋企附近都有帶2個出街，咁你住邊度？下星期二帶細仔Lucy Leung 檢查打針。但係等有group gathering，太遠可能去唔到。

Amanda bornt on 8/18

Hi everybody,
My daughter Amanda bornt in early morning of 8/18. We went home today. I have just finished feeding her. My water bag broke on 8/17 afternoon. I called my hubby and he came back driving 95 miles and managed to come back in 30 minutes. I took a shower and washed my hair before going. When I arrived the hospital, I'm already 3 cm dilated. My ob was not on duty that day and there's a male midwife who delivered my baby. After several hours of no progress, the midwife decided to induce labor for me. At around 11:20pm, I was 6/7 cm dilated and the nurse asked me if I needed pain medication. I could still handle it and wanted to wait. After 15 minutes, I thought that I needed medication but it's already too late because I was fully dilated. Once the midwife arrived the labor room, he emptied my bladder and started coaching me pushing. He and the 2 nurses were really professional and good. I just needed to push for 20 minutes, Amanda's out and she bornt at a few mins. past mid night. So, we could stay one more night in the hospital.

I really like this hospital and all the workers there. They are very professional, supportive and nice. My tear is just 2 degree this time, managed to pee and have the 1st poo today. It's all because of the coaching of the midwife on how and when to push to avoid big tear. They were so encouraging and one of the nurses actually off duty but she really wanted to see the baby bornt and she left right after Amanda bornt.

Now, I'm working hard to be a milk-cow mom. Amanda is agressive and really wants to suck. I start to feel the milk coming. Both me and my hubby are tired. Spencer sorts of understand that Amanda is his sister, he gave her kisses but also hit her when I asked him to stop his naughty behaviors.

以色列醫院就係咁識搵錢。我生大仔時侯，完全冇收錢。但係，生完細仔， tv和用房電話要pay money。

When I had Chloe I was in pain for 2 hours b/c the epidural person didn't have time to take care of me earlier. Then I took the epidural and it was a big relief and gave birth in 1 hour. If give birth again I will try to not take it next time. I worry if epidural may have side effect on spine when I get older.

Same here ah, they don't do detailing at car wash place as they have their own people to handle this. For my own car, I just wash it myself although it always look dirty. With kids I think it's ok to be a bit dirty and messy. Chloe just dropped some chocolate milk on her carseat yesterday. I am still debating to take it out for cleaning or leave it like that heee hee. I'm so lazy.

glad to hear about the positive delivery experience this time, i wish i would be this lucky, too ... male midwife? did you expect that?

i had my checkup last week, OB said bb is well ... now is already between 6.5 and 7 pounds, so i don't need to eat too much ... bb's keep changing his position and on that day, he was on his side and lying on my right side ... OB said he will still move, hopefully to the right position ... my left hip pain subsides these days and the cramps still come sometimes ... excited

Congratulation! Which hospital did you go to? Take more rest when you can. :) Is your famly taking care of Spencer now? How much does your bb weight? They don't do episiotomy but let it just tear? I hope you recover soon. :)

Wah.. hai la... Watch TV doe charge! hehe.. pay-pre-view ah. Well, can people bring their own portable tv/mp3 player there then? Anyway, usually after bb born, the mom will be tired and need rest etc. Maybe no need to watch TV. :)

Congratulations!! Really happy for you. Hope you and your family are doing fine, especially Spencer is adjusting well. So the ultrasound was correct. It's a girl!! Post her picture if you have a chance la. Now you take care and take more rest whenever you can la!!
