兩個人搵錢更係好啦..好過我地, 真係局住要一個搵錢, 我99本來講到天花龍fung話幫我地湊bb, 仲話好悶, 點知, 就連我坐月, 話黎幫我, 點知日日就出左街, 係夜晚先番黎訓, 仲有兩日話坐完月,佢都話唔等得要走,佢住brooklyn, 話要趕住散種, 種菜, 你有冇聽話呀?真係勁攪笑, 我嬲嬲地, 咪當bro inlaw渣車上黎時, 我比晒99既belongings佢帶走, 車番去比佢, 叫佢唔洗急番黎,我自己都攪得店. 所以你有個好99真係好呀..好99難求呢...嘿嘿, 我99其實個人都ok, 不過都係相處好, 同住難, 而家兩公婆住憤, 都唔想同佢地住呀, :)我都好想我坐月時係我媽媽幫我,但可惜佢住hk麻, 要過黎, 即係hk個家冇人攪jet..唔得既..因我仲有麻麻係度:)

$750 full time is not too bad. :) Well, I am not in NY. I am in silicon valley... California ah. My son is 14 months now and I put him in family daycare. A Chinese lady and she hires a helper to help taking care of the kids in her home. I pay about $1000 a month (full-time). The daycare facility (American's) that's very close to my house charge $1500+ a month for my son's age. :( TOO expensive and I want to save money especialy I don't think they really do much teaching at my son's young age anyway.

I once talking about the daycare issue (abt the current daycare too far frmo my home/office) with my coworker and she recommended me to check out a daycare that's close to my office. I found out it cost $1770 + a month (and equipment fees etc) so I expressed that's it's a bit too expensive. So she asked me how much I pay for mine and I told her about $1000. She had that look on her face and then said "oh... " That expression is kinda saying "gosh, I don't know what kind of place you put your son into.. like a cheap place..." woo... I talked to another coworker and her daugher's daycare and preschool is cost over $1500/mth too. So I guess it's just an average range for American daycare facility/school in the area. I don't know how people afford 2 or more kids! (if they don't get the gov benefit) :) Anyway, I will continue to search for some cheaper/subsidize pre-school for my son later...

CARRIE & other mommies having problem with 99:

my 99 lives with me too and i a having a very hard time trying to talk to her cuz whatever she says is always right...you know what i mean..so i'd rather let her do the talking and walk away...what can i do..my c6 adores his mommy...
maybe i made a mistake marrying him ahha...oh and my 99 cursed at my son too "XXXX" in chinese..my god. so i slapped him(1yr old) in front of her and she went to her bedroom!

silicon valley is very expensive to live in. the houses r expensive too. i think chinese day care is okay as long as you send your kid back to english preschool later on...my son was sent to esl class in kindergarten becuz i put him in chinese preschool...

my 5 yr old is still using diaper at night, how could amanda toilet trained so early. do i need to wake him up in the middle of the night to go pee?

各位媽咪, 又係我一年一度去續個employment authorization. 不嬲都係expire 前一星期, 去到local office 續, 一個星期內就拎到新證. 點知上星期去, 佢地話而家啲野由mainland 處理, local 唔做. 上網file 完都要等成三個月先至有證. 嘩!真激氣. 我好想轉工, 但咁即係話呢三個月, 我咩都唔可以諗住, 等到有新證先至可以搵工. 去到local office, 小黑緊係例牌發下佢地難渣, 見哂supervisor, 問佢地幾時先至俾綠卡我. 佢地當然係耍太極.仲話有啲case 要等成10 年, 我呢啲4 年貨仔, 已經唔算係啲咩. 真無奈.

you can take the ferry, then take the train (5 stops) to Old town, then call my cell, I will come and pick you up.. or even just call me when you get to the pier, I can come to the pier to pick you up
