Oh, wonder why Dr Cheong didn't recommend the
mousse to me. I'd probably call the clinic and ask ask.
Now I'm so super nervous about Lulube's teeth that I
requested him to brush them 3 times a day.
Which toothpaste are you using?

Strawberrys,
I used to give Lulube the "First Teeth" toothpaste when
he was < 1 yr, but he hated it and refused to brush his
teeth. Since then, we changed to using toothpaste from
Chicco, which contains 800 ppm fluoride. It said on
the label that it's suitable for children above 1 yr and is
edible. In fact, it just tastes like candy so I presume
all children will like it.
I think Kei Kei should be smart enough to learn rinsing
the mouth gar. Lulube knows, coz' he always spits out
his food anyways.

Lulube was born weighing 3.2 kg

琦琦教極都是飲水, 不會吐水, 可能太為食, 所以至今未用過牙膏.

你和 tingfai 睇過的牙醫, 收費貴嗎? 如果不太貴, 我想帶琦琦去檢查一下, 唔該先!

Ai ya, still very very painful when thinking of the bill payment!!!!

I have two teethpaste at home. One is First teeth and the other is from Chicco.

I am nervous for Hei Hei's teeth as well. He has to brush his teeth before sleeping at night. But I can't control at the time he is at school!

BTW, he will request for mama milk the first in the morning (say at 5:30am or 6:xxam). Sometimes, he drinks and falls into sleep again for 1-1.5 hours. Do u think this is a problem?? Shall I reject it ?? I am so worry of it .

for the same doctor.

I don't know. But for high risk kids like Lukas and Hei Hei, for sure we need to use the teethpaste!

我覺得今胎沒有上胎舒服,一方面可能年紀大了,另一方面上胎想訓就訓,想點就點,今次仲要照顧小丁丁,所以較為辛苦.

此外,我成日覺得個肚就來跌下來,又覺得頂住個BLADDER,醫生話因為第二胎,肌肉鬆馳了,所以會有這樣的感覺!醫生還說陀第二胎會有好多感覺.同上胎一樣現在胃口都係麻麻地,食太多就嘔,唔食肚餓又想嘔!

你都要好好準備啦!我本來都打算下年SUMMER生,但計劃改了,所以年頭生.

怕! The dentist said the dental caries is mostly due to the fact that we didn't clean his teeth before sleeping and the mid-night milk. (even mama milk)

I urge you to change this habbit to Ding Ding. The dental caries could go worse very fast for kids. Be careful ar!!!!

Strawberrys,

Dr Cheong is a paediatric dental specialist. Her fees are
cheaper on her HK side clinic compared with the Kln side
(coz of affiliation reasons). Kln side: $500/consultation,
HK side: ? $250. Better ask tingfai.

tingfai,

I face the same problem as you you.
Night-time routine is okay: take bath, BF, brush teeth,
story, go to sleep.
But Lulube has a tendency to wake up at 5 am too.
If I don't BF him, he will wake up fully and can't sleep
again no matter what. So I allow myself to BF him to sleep at that time. But when he wakes up at 7 am, first thing is to brush his teeth lor.

Lulube was born weighing 3.2 kg

Hei Hei struggled for a few days je bor. Much much better than I expected.

I let him drink mama milk at the time he is not so sleepy, then brush his teeth and play with him afterward.

When the sleeping time comes, I settle with him at the bed, sing songs and tell story (though he has no interest!) and ask him to sleep. He cried serious in the first day and for just a while in the second day and forgot the mama milk in third day!
Not as hard as you think! Go ahead!

Probably more sun fu as you need to take care of Ding Ding at the same time too. Add oil and take care lah. Enjoy your VIP status unless you plan for the third baby

Before Lulube was discovered to have dental caries, I BF him to sleep too. Dr Cheong mentioned that this is the greatest risk of all! When I changed his bedtime routine, he cried for two days lah, but amazingly, quite okay afterewards wor. We slept with him on the adult bed and he would roll here and then and fell asleep by himself. You should better try with Ding Ding lah.

DON'T let them assoicate 食奶 with sleeping ar !!!
So the important thing is the timing! U may try try : let them eat an hour before his sleeping time at first. (u could change it back to normal afterward)
