The hell I would ask them to cook for myself. What they hav cooked will be juz sth uneatable which even she herself wouldn't put into her mouth.

Frankly, at last they would look for some other jobs in HK. But for those that I have hired, including my current one, who often don't like learning their Cantonese and cooking skill, it's very difficult for them to survive out their in HK...They never realised this point..

I think my situation is similar to you, hire her for cleaning. I already try local helper for cleaning before, that's fine. But,two of the kids have some actitives after school, but they are not study at same school, that is the reason why I need someone assist me. I want to put more time with my kids, so I don't want use the time for cleaning the house.

I've never met that 妃嬪, but I don't think she need to be beautiful, coz he won't see that when the light turns off, right?!!

My present policy is, 'one eye open, one eye close', as my maid is good to my baby, I keep all the briefing as minimal as possible. Of course, she occasionally needs some medical check, like lung x-ray!!

wow, haven't been here for half-day then 2 pages have been added in this Horse Critic! Thanks for you guys' support!

Enjoy so much these 2 pages coz finally you guys are getting serious on the theme!! (well, of course I enjoy all the jokes).

Originally wanted to make their working atmosphere a more friendly one, but in reality this will finally make your life far more difficult. This time when I blamed "Middle Lady" I have never spitted out these words before with her predessesors: "U are EMPLOYEE only, not part of the family. Mind your own status pls". Have to admit that I had to give up my usual friendliness and it was totally their fault to make me being so harsh.

Regarding Christy-mama's enquiry, I applied military training on them: 立正！站好！爲什麽隻腳不是穿在拖鞋裏？look into my eyes!......

Well, if you can't control this at the beginning, or your maid has gone wild, I would suggest you buy another one rather than spending time to tame them.

Thanks for everyone's opinion. From my observation, "Middle Lady" isn't that bad in roots, but just like to shoe-polish (coz she has not been outstanding in the past), and unfortunately she had to throw away all the brushes when meeting me. Pls continue to have more discussion on management skills and strategies!
