Disconnect may be caused by various reasons. Weak wireless signal, cable failure, router problem. You have to look for the root cause of the problem by elimination, such as - connect it with cable to confirm if it is (or not) wireless signal problem, change cable / router, etc. If you are sure it is the ipcam that is having problem, bring it back to Everbest for repair.

Help!!! The vivotek cam always disconnect from the router. I have used it for a week and reset the cam 3 times la... anyone know what's the problem?
Vivotek IP7137 - fixed cam only. But should support HTTP mode, recording software at PC can handle 16 cam simultaneously.
DLink 5220 - Can pan / tilt and record at browser, but does not support HTTP mode, the recording software bundled should be same as Vivotek.
Panasonic BL-C131 - Can pan/tilt, but angles are a lot less than Dlink 5220, but the browser interface supports multiple cam simultaneously, while recording software bundled support one cam only.
I have used Panasonic BL-C30 for about 2 years and just added another Panasonic BL-C1 to monitor a coming newborn baby in my bedroom. Now, i can view the 2 cameras at the same time. After 2 years of usage, i have the following recommendation to all BK Papa and Mama who are intending to buy IP cam to monitor their maids or baby from their company.
1) Try to log in your friend's ip cam from your company to see whether your company firewall has blocked all video streamline or which port is opened.
2) If you are not familiar with PC, router setup, port forwarding, try to buy Panasonic IP cam because their setup is very easy. They also provide a Dynamic DNS service free of charge.
3) If you use Netvigator Broadband at home, try to use port 8080 or 443. At least they work for me.
4) If you can log in your ip cam but can see no video. Your company may block the video streamline. Try to change the refresh rate of your IP cam from Motion to 3s (it means refresh a image for every 3 seconds), it may works. This is actually my own situation(of course not a smooth video but at least i know what happen in my home). However, not every IP cam has this refresh rate.
According to standard advertisement from the distributor, $1980. But I think there may be $50-$100 discount from the retail shops. Go to Shamshuipo Centralfield to have a look.
