各位twins媽媽,大家好!
我也是懷孖胎. My twins now are in 24 weeks. But Dr told me that one twin is at the correct size 603g but another is two weeks smaller 450g. I am so worried :cry:

Can any twins mama can share your experiences?

will the smaller twin catch up later?

Besides, I find that I have 宮縮 (no pain) more often than b4? is it too early? I also feel my lower abdomen 陰陰 moon moon 不舒服. Is it normal? is it due to expansion of 子宮?

I cant sleep and eat well coz i always feel so scared that i will have early delivery/...also scared until i wake up in the middle of the night...:cry: :cry: :cry:

can any twins mama can support me here coz i dont know who to ask..:(

唔駛咁驚! 我之前兩個B都係唔同SIZE架! 到出世時2.685 & 2.019KG 都爭成LB架! 我廿幾週試過流紅添呀! 好彩無野! 等到37W4D先出世. 唔好成日擔心啦! 對BB唔好架! E+最緊要休息多D, 得閒聽下音樂RELAX一下, 有問題就搵醫生CHECK一CHECK, 我地會支持你架!

my C+ told me it normal that one twins will be smaller and i felt relief after listening to him. After I visited PWH Dr..he said the slower growth might due to girl's placenta is not functioning well and that's why girl cannot take in nutrient and coz the slower growth. he said observe for another month...might need early delivery tpo bring the girl out..but this will affect the boy since boy is at normal size..this is scary...

now at 24 weeks already got 0.3 pounds diff...i scared the diff will become larger every week...:cry: :cry: :cry:

don't worry, my doctor (both c+ and govt's) told me
their weight are different when they are in 30 weeks
, worrying it is the early sign of
TTTS. the doctor will keep monitor them by checking not only their weight, but also 羊水量,膀胱,心臟...etc, because if they are suffering from TTTS unluckily,there should be
some other symptoms...

luckily my smaller B can catch up in the next check up.im
in 37 weeks now and they are both 6 lbs and healthy.
So,trust your doctor and be relax!!im sure everything will be fine on you too.

hi iloveorange,

I dont have TTTS prob coz they are non-identical twins. they have their own placenta. I heard babies will start grow very starts from 7 months onwards..is that true?

Hi bloveb,

So nothing to worry la!!!!! the worst case on twins is TTTS, and thats y both govt and c+ suggest us to do the check up more frequent.

Yes you are right, babies will grow faster at the third tremester.

And dont worry about the weight, even they are underweight when they born, its not that difficult for them to catch up with the normal one. Healthy is the most important!

Hi rayeu and iloveorange...

I still have one thing to ask. I am now 24 weeks and start feel 宮縮, not the regular one and without pain. I know this type of 宮縮 is okie. But is it too early to have this? will this be the symptom of early delivery? Besides, i sometimes feel my lower abdomen "cheh ha cheh ha" and sometimes 陰陰痛, is it due to the enlargement of uterus since babies are growing very fast?? or this is due to the movement of the babies? did you have the same experience also?

我陀對tiwins時, 兩個都細過average添丫, 不過聯合的醫生話如果有持續長大就唔洗驚, 我都有驚早產, 不過驚都無用, 惟有訓多d, 休息多d, 先係幫助長胎的方法

我在5, 6個月時, 都成日宮縮, 尤其是陏動多時, 我響1o1o買左條托腹底褲, 包實個肚, 宮縮就無咁多了
