Hi,

The Piano Concerto Under 12 yesterday was a highly competitive event, with about 10 APA kids aging 8-11 showing off their best technique and musical talents. There performances were very enjoyable. There were altogether 19 competitiors. The three prizes go to :-

1st - Wong Wai Yuen (8 years old)
2nd - Aristo Sham (10 years old)
3rd - Dennis Tam

各位琴會媽咪，

首先恭喜所有係今屆音樂節得到好成績嘅小朋友，無論得獎與否，只要盡咗力，已經值得獎勵！

囝囝今日參加E144 比賽，幸運地得到第三名 (84分)，囝囝相當滿意！總算對老師有個交待！

參加完幾個比賽，我覺得今年小朋友整體水準提高咗好多，大家有無同感呀？可能依家家長都覺得音樂對小朋友嘅發展有一定影響，所以大家都比以前認真，如果繼續發展落去，我地下一代嘅音樂水平一定會大大提高啦！

一個八歲嘅小朋友可以彈到一首 concerto 仲得到第一名，佢真係唔簡單，比 Aristo 更厲害！

我老師曾經係一個公開賽欣賞過 Aristo 嘅表演，已經讚口不絕，我今次要介紹另一位新星俾佢認識吓！

Hi Rachethew,

Congradulations on the good results of your son. I like the strong and lively rhythm of the 144 龍船歌 which requires a lot of energy to play it well. I hope I will have a chance to listen to your son's lively performance.

My daughter played in the school 周會yesterday but she told me she did not play well. She was the last performer and became very cold while waiting. When it was her turn, her hands were shaking and stiff and could not control the fast notes. Has you son listened to the performance and what is his opinion ?

My impression of the Concerto Under 12 was that the winner was very cute and gave a very musical, lively and energetic performance, but made quite some mistakes which were luckily forgiven by the adjudicators (2 adjudicators in this competition). Aristo played very well and he was the winner to me.
