I have 2 kids and I quited my job when my younger kid is 1 year old and elder kid is P.2. I feel that I need to spend a few years with my kids when they are still young, as this is really very valuable. I can never have such a chance any more after my kids grow up. So though it is a very difficult decision, I still choose to quit.
It is really very happy to take care of my kids directly, especially seeing my baby growing and learning so fast. It is also much better for my elder kid as I can help her more on her study, to ensure that she will not lack behind in her primary years.
I hope that I can still go back to work sometimes later, but it may be difficult. Maybe I can do some more meaningful job rather than just making money. Afterall, life is sometimes very short, I will not regret only if I can do what I want and can always be happy and enjoy life.
don't be disappointed... keep planning to be a Full Time Mom! Suggestion:you can start save up money, and until a "safe point", you may stop working for at least 1-2 years to take care of your child, or take a part time job as you have some buffer with your saved money!
