if she never works in HK, she needs more time to adapt to the new environment.
Besides, for a experienced HK maid, less training is needed. However, she will normally compare your family with her ex-employer(s). Therefore, you need to tell her your rules in detail on the first day she comes. Otherwise, she will feel unhappy when somethings seems to be different from her previous experience.
My first and second maid both work in HK at the time when I employ them, both not finished contract with their previous employer. But I found they are OK, may be I'm lucky.
