I never let the helper use the washing machine for their own clothes. But the first indonesian helper washed her underwears together with my husband's shirts when we're not at home. My sister's helper (also indonesian) did the same before. I think it is because they believe that it will make the boss treat them better.
I did not let my Indonesian maid to use my washing machine, because the Agent teach me that..... and I tell the Indonesian I will mind if she use.... she swear she won't use, she likes hand wash.... but finally I found her put her clothes into our clothes to machine-wash.... I was so angry !!!!!!!!
I warned her and now I switch the machine by myself.................................. but I still suspect she will use if I am not at home....
