學校與萬聖節
中心主任　麥雪芝
今年有一個頗特別的現象，就是越來越多學校慶祝萬聖節，舉辦聯歡活動，連基督教學校也不例外。連電台名嘴鄭大班也留意到，並在節目中高呼：「萬聖節有甚麼『聖』的地方？不明白老師和家長為甚麼要慶祝西方的『盂蘭節』，有甚麼值得慶祝？」。
萬聖節根本不是基督教節日，要追尋其根源，就要回到主前三百年的北歐、西歐及英倫一帶。住在那裡的塞特人(Celtics)，信奉一種供奉死神Samhain的宗教，而十月三十一日是他們的新年除夕，就把這天稱為「死節」，拜祭死神，招喚邪靈及死人的靈魂。祭司在十月三十一日，會挨家挨戶索取各種奇特食物，初時是自己享用，後來是在死節用來供奉死神。如果村民拒絕給予食物，他們會咒詛這一家。這種風俗流傳到今天，便是孩子登門索取糖果，不然就會咒詛人家。這就是"trick or treat"的意思。
所以死節的起源跟基督教是風馬牛不相及，死節是屬於魔鬼的。
不知是否校方希望找藉口辦慶典，舒緩緊張的學習氣氛；還是因為教育面臨削減經費，加上出生率下降收生不足，學校要「攪攪新意思」，為標榜本校「學業、德育、文娛康樂」並重，吸引更多學生？
上帝是忌邪的神，你在傳揚甚麼訊息？是「萬聖節值得慶祝」還是「世上有鬼魂，但在耶穌裡不要害怕，耶穌愛你」，老師舉辦特別「應節」聚會，向學生講述耶穌趕鬼的事跡，把握機會糾正錯誤觀念。
「你們中間不可有人使兒女經火，也不可有占卜的、觀兆的、用法術的、行邪術的、用迷術的、交鬼的、行巫術的、過陰的。凡行這些事的，都為耶和華所憎惡。」申命記18章10-12節

Why not buy a terrible & bloody costume for little y instead of the skeleton bodies? It seems more outstanding than a skeleton costume especially little y is so thin already.

You are free now? Release the pressure from studying? Hope your Ocean Park Halloween Day will be happy. Littlekay went there last 2 years and she said very scary. She dare not go to the haunted house.

我覺得真係無咁gei需要

, 一個係天主教徒gei小學校長, 都容許佢管理gei學校可以攪halloween party, 間小學仲有個修女校監wow, 都批佢地玩, 應該問題唔大

況且小winwin未來11年都會在天主教學校成長, 如果我真係"TELL HER THE TRUTH", 嚇到佢唔敢返學, 又或者返左學佢會同d同學仔格格不入, 咁咪幣傢伙

學校可以比得小朋友玩gei, 應該都經過週詳考慮, 唔會有咩野行差踏錯, 唔洗咁緊張, 咪當係遊戲一個

個"TRUTH"都係留待小winwin自己大個女後去發掘la

my 哈佬喂之旅，so bad，worst than bisneyland，next year咪攪我，wait for the cable car needs 45 minutes, the rest at least 30 minutes，企到我脚都軟，仲要玩到成12點先走，我都5覺有乜咁好玩，明知係假，自己嚇自己，死law~咁快同小eve有代溝？

the weather was excellent, the foods (I prepared) were yummy --> the kids enjoyed very much & got exhausted :mrgreen: after the picnic, we got a round KCR trip for 2 hours, from Tai Po -> TST -> Lo Wu - > Mongkok as both kids slept on the train law

my kids were so excited when they found they arrived at the Lo Wu station :lol: :lol:

嘩!剛剛先睇完你地談及呢個「萬聖節」, 我就看作一個party看待, 有得玩、有得著便服(要捐$)、有糖食、又有故仔聽, 作為一個活動, 我覺得無問題wor.....真係有唔明基督教 ?-(

係呀, 問過小y啦, 朗誦節在12月, 好似在某個friday, 不是下年, 唔知家長有無得去呢?

慘啦!呢個月開始要去斧山道游水,以往我都幫同另一個家長帶個細路去泳池的，依家同佢阿媽商量左打的去,咁攪法個COST高左, 你覺得我叫教練減學費, 會5會無賴左d呢

有關去游水要轉場, 琴晚又有新進展啦,

事原就係新場收9點, 即時要7點上堂(記住係friday, 要返工),
依家呢班有6個小朋友, 只有小y&同屋村的小朋友(我唔帶,佢就無得游)趕唔切要遲入埸。
依家阿蛇話不如改sat, 只是教佢兩個, 但阿蛇又好full, 無物時間可以選。
暫時$都係唔同佢講住, 試下明日fri上堂, 睇下遲幾多先再諗。真係麻煩 :cry:
