BTW, I've also called Fat Angelos restaurant today and found that they are also providing private rooms, buffet, and pizza making games for kids' birthday party. Quite attractive! I think I'll go for either QQ Club or Fat Angelos for my son's coming birthday party.

Hi ChiWaWa,

According to my knowledge, they don't have minimum charge. I got the quote from them after I talked with their manager on the phone. They propose to charge me at $100 per head (including children), so, if I'm expecting an about 50 persons party, I can order a buffet snacks menu for 40 persons, (make a total $4,000), which price has already included 10% service charge, pizza making games for kids, balloons twisting & drawing books for the kids. If you think the program is still not enough, you can in addition find a clown too.

Exactly. I got the quotation from Elizabeth House branch, becus I'm living in HK side.

BTW, I just got one more suggestion from my friend, that's the "Wise Kid" (the toys shop, you know?). I called them this afternoon and understand that they provide everything except food (clown, party hosts, balloons decoration, gifts, etc.), $4,000 for party under 40 person. VIP cardholders will have 20% discount. But their venues are quite remote for me, 1 in Cyberport and 1 in TST.

I have checked from QQ club, they quoted price around $20,000. It is very expensive, even I have 40 kids, this is too dear. Even more than the hotel buffet party.

KMPAnson, did they give you a full list quotation? Since they did a lot of exta charge.......

Hi lamlam-ma,

You are absolutely right. I actually am quite angry with them, becus at first they only told me that their charges is $3,500 for 20 kids + foods & drinks (which I think will not be more than $2,000), but at the end when they gave me the quotation, I found out many many extra charges, & most of all, they will add another 15% service charge on top of everything, I think they are nuts.

However, Fat Angelos seems more reasonable, they listed clearly everything I need to pay which have no hidden charges at all, and everything they quoted to me has already included service charges. Further, I'll consider their venue in Elizabeth House is a quite convenient location to both of me and my guests.

Do you have some other suggestion other than my findings???
