My mom was diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer couple years ago. Dr. Wxng was her doctor and suggested my mom to remove the whole breast to reduce the chance of recurrence, given she is not young and prevention is more important, my mom accepted Dr Wxng's suggestion and had a surgery removing the full breast. After the surgery, Dr Wxng told my mom that she was healed. Medicine, chemotherapy and radiotherapy were not needed.
However, there were side effects which made my mom suffered for the past years. She felt pain at the scar area and this kind of side effect was not well mentioned by Dr. Wxng before the surgery.
My mom went back to Dr Wxng for regular checkup in the past years. However, my mom's health condition dropped and lost 1x pounds in one year. Last time when she went back to Dr Wxng's clinic for regular checkup, she was told that she's ok. However my mom could not breath well so she went to other doctors for further checkups. 3 months after her last regular checkup at Dr. Wxng's clinic, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastasis and cancer is well spread over to her lung, bone, ovary, brain etc. She then started chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Dr Wxng only asked my mom to go back for regular checkup. My mom was not asked to have regular blood test to monitor her situation. Even during her last checkup, her weight was dropped dramatically but Dr Wxng did not take further action and assumed things were ok.
The situation was out of control even chemotherapy and radiotherapy started. Everything was too late and after months of battle, my dad lost her wife, I lost my mom and my sons lost their grandma.
I still have tears in my eyes while I am telling you my mom's story.
