went down take a ride for about 20km, run on street and also get on the high way.
may be the car is new, every easy to speed up. once a little touch, the car goes... need to very care on my right foot. a really family car.
since larger than my old one. need to upgrade my parking skill.
parking ok la. that is bigger than my old car but Picnic is not really big. When you buy big car, you must face the parking issue. specially when you go in some small parking lot. we will try to not go such parking lot...
I have look 7-8 seater car for a month, and finally choose Nissan - Presage (8 seater).
At first, I only consider Totoya (Pinic or Previa), then Honda - Stepwgen. struggling which one to buy cos neither of one I really love it most until I shall "resage".....
From 師奶 point of view: (好o既唔講)
Pinic $198,000 (7 seater)
1.version for few year already & will change version next year,
2. difficult to get in the car.
3. the third row is quite uncomfortable.
4. cannot access from 2nd row to 3th row in the middle.
5. no slide door
Previa $270,000 - $335,000 (7-8 seater)
1. too big (cos my husband will drive on weekdays alone)
2. quite expensive.
3. too height
Stepwgen $268,000 (8 seater)
1. I don't like 車尾箱. 無箱不突只, 仲係無欄, 一開車尾好易跌哂的嘢出黎.
2. little bit ugly, although better than previous version.
3. 天窗完全唔掂....
4. 要預留at least 3尺位開車尾.
5. 無扣
Well, I've went to Toyota & Honda showroom many times but didn't get into Nissan showroom. But what I think is I need to spend $2XX,XXX to buy a car, so I must to see all the 7-8 seater car before I decide it. So I push myself to go to other brand showroom, once I saw Presage I love it as well as my husband. So we finally bought it, and our new car coming next month.
As u said about resale value. We've think it again & again, if we consider resale value, we'll go for Previa. cos we decided to keep the car at least 5 years, so still go for Presage.
My current car is Toyota - Camry, is also waiting for sale.
as yyvenus's advise, one of the main point is budget.. ConnieChan, how much you are going to spend or budget is not the issue?
for me, my budget is under 200000, so that could not consider Nissan Presage, Toyota Previa & Honda Stepwgen. The above three models are all good and I went to show room before to take a look. But the price is out of my budget....
for within my budget, picnic is the best for my family....
