Wow, Rose-mag, how can you pump out so much milk? I can only pump out 100ml each time everyday. I pumped twice a day and skin to skin Isaac before and after work.

Well, when I have delivered my son, I also only could pump out 3-4oz milk each time. This time when I have my daughter, I cut out eating intestines (I ate everyday when I had my son) and I pumped after each feeding to clear my breast. Gradually, I produced quite a bit of milk. When my daughter was 2 months old, I could have 4-5oz each pumping. Now, I pump out at least 6-7oz each time. I pump 2 times at work, breastfeed Amanda before and after work plus 1-2 night feeding (sometimes, she cannot empty my breasts then I pump out the rest). In weekend, I 100% breastfeed her. My daughter is not a big eater, she somewhat takes 3-4oz per feeding. Therefore, I have quite a bit of milk at home. Including my reserve in the freezer, I think that I may have at least 80 bags of milk (4-5oz each). I found that papaya, fish and pig's limbs really work to increase my milk so I eat these all the time since my daughter's born. Also, I kept drinking at least 3 glasses of milk in the first 3 months, taking fish oil, DHA, calcium and multi-vitamin capsules everyday until now. I don't think that I'm a big "milk-cow" - I know some moms pump out 10oz each time. I guess that the trick is to start building up milk supply early and keep it up. When Amanda was still 1-2 months old, I breastfed her exclusively 8 times and pumped at least 6 times a day. If I knew that much about breastfeeding when Spencer's still a baby, I would be able to give him more milk. So, I somewhat want to compensate him now.
