I believe there is no difference. I filed my application to Melbourne but I noticed the contact of the gentleman handling my case is from office in Perth. Really don't know how do they make such an arrangement.
Good to hear this news! I was wonder is there any difference about the approval efficiency between different office. At first, we want to mail the application form to Perth but afraid that Perth office do not familiar with the approval process which will lead to the delay of approval/refer to bridging course.
What a relieve to heard that Perth office approve your application so quick. Then I can send the form to Perth office without any hesitation now.
Congratulation to you again littlepin! Really thanks for your information.

This is currently due to be held on 4 February 2016, however this date can be subject to change.
I understand that this is not the advice you were waiting to hear, but we would like you to be aware of the progress of your application so you can continue to plan your career in Australia.
Please be assured that we will prioritise your application wherever possible.
I can also advise that we don’t require any further information or documents from you at this point. However if we do, we will contact you again to request this.
Thank you for your continued understanding and patience throughout the assessment process.
''Our research into the accreditation system in Hong Kong concluded that the Hong Kong Polytechnic University did not undergo external accreditation at a level comparable with the Australian system until 2011, which is before you studied your qualification. As a result, the NMBA has referred you to complete a Board-approved bridging program.''
It means that if i graduate later (on 2011 or after), I can get the license.

Hey Vincy, I don't know if it is true that polyu start having external accreditation since 2011...
Try go get in touch with polyu and see what they say... Or if polyu use nursing council for external accreditation ask nursing council to send them a letter for proof.
I graduate in 2008, Polyu HD
Hope to hear good news from you
