hi biscuits, we didn't go out today except until 4:40pm, that's when Papi & Carlos have to take me to work...
I think Woolworths remains open until Christmas but will there be bargains, I'm not sure lor...
Talking about Spain, we go about once or twice (when money is good!) a year, only to see the family. Other than that, we've only been to Barcelona once together...not very exciting, is it???

pigpig, I did steamed sea bream, pak choi & congee (but more like soft rice) for Carlos' lunch today. He finished a good portion and I'm relieved 'cos he doens't eat well when Papi feeds him in the evening.
I still do sweet potatoe mash for Carlos from time to time ~ not sure if he likes it but I think it all depends on his mood of the day!
I did potatoe mash with carrot & salmon for him yesterday(?), luckily I checked with fran here quickly before I decided to use the blender to blend up the potatoe...so stupid of me.
How's Grabiel's weaning go? Is he liking everything?

Hi riko, thanks for asking. Carlos is doing fine...eating is a bit of good and bad...his 8th tooth is erupting and that probably explains why he is a bit fussy with his food lately.
We haven't really think thro' about the celebrations yet...I will probably get him a small fairy cake. Mum has asked me to do him a boilded egg and tinted it red with the dyes from red packets for him to play and eat. We will probably take some pictures together. We've already 'splashed out' on a new car seat, some new outfits and a few other small things. It's a lot of money to spend in Nov/Dec/Jan as his patron saint (Saint Carlos) in Nov, then his Bday & Christmas, then Jan 6 (day of the three kings)...
Anyway, he is probably too young to understand what's happening and we will only do a low-key celebration lor...
How about Donovan's? Are you doing a party for his friends to come and play with him? Has he told you what he wants for his Bday?

Biscuits...I think not working night shift is a wise choice as you will need to get more regular rests and I think working at night is especially hard! But interestingly, I did see a few nurse who were expecting (even at 6/7 months!) still carrying on with their night shifts and their shifts are 12 hours each ga...don't know how they manage it???

I can't stand cold food for lunch in the winter, esp now I've lost weight, I just can't keep myself warm...so I have to go to the canteen and eat!

Well, carlos now 'chip-in' everytime when hubby and I want to talk. However, when we start talking to him, he will keep quiet or look away. But a few times, we were talking about him and he suddenly made a 'yeah' noise as if he is replying us ~ very funny...
