Yes, Alan did cry, but surprisingly only on the first time he got on the school bus all by himself. He and his classmates (although they are all in small B class) did not cry too much at the beginning of schooling. But it was a bit different on the am class as I was told by his teacher, i.e. many classmates cried even on the 2nd week (also small B class).
