I had similar experience as you with my GP, but my GP was even worse, he didn’t give me any vitamins at all and didn’t give me any advice at all! I think I was 7 weeks pregnant when I went to see him. Anyway regarding the B1 Form, your midwife will give it to you when you see her on your first appointment. Why do you need to tell your employer so early? I didn’t tell my boss and colleagues until my tummy was starting to show when I was around 4 months pregnant.
I also felt sick right from the beginning, almost immediately after I missed my period. I felt like throwing up all the time and lost my appetite. Every morning the moment I wake up I will run to the toilet to throw up even though there’s nothing in my stomach…really want to die at that time. This lasted for about 15/16 weeks, then after that I felt much better! So don’t worry, what you are feeling is normal.
BTW, where in London do you stay? I am staying in Canary Wharf and I have a 2 year old daughter, I am working too.
Very excited that you are staying in canary wharf too! 大家出黎嘆番個tea - anytime ! Another 媽咪, Jelly, also stay around here. We can all meet up together ah! In fact if you are free on 5 Nov, Jelly and I were thinking of having lunch, do you want to join?
Are you working in Canary Wharf too? BTW, which GP do you go to? I hope it is not the one I go to, because he is very terrible!
For the 作嘔既感覺, you can try drinking ginger tea or eating dried ginger or preserved sour ginger, in fact any kind of ginger. You will feel better after eating them. I always have a packet of dried ginger in my bag during the first 3 months of my pregnancy. Also you can get some aromatherapy roll ons where you can smell and put on your pulse point when you are feeling sick. You can also eat some soda cracker, it tends to settle your stomach nicely.
