1. We use Dreft to wash bb's clothes. We always seperate our laundary. i.e. bb clothes 1 load, my clothes 1 load, my hubby's clothes 1 load. Seems that I saw Target selling the Target brand detergent for bb (something like Dreft). I haven't check that out yet since I still have Dreft left at home. I think I may just use regular detergent for my bb's laundry now as he doesn't seems to have any allegy at all since he's born. He's 15 months now.
2. We use nursery water ($1-1.5 a gallon selling in Target, walmart, Babies R Us etc) most of the time. When we run out of the nursery water, we also tried using spring water/distiller water/cool down boiled tap water as well. Nursery water is very convenient coz I don't usually boil water and then let it cool down nowadays. For adult, we bought spring/distiller water to drink. bb's use nursery water. Though some people have concern on the nursery water because it may contain too much flouride.
3. When my son was smaller, he was fine to drink room-temperature formula. Later on, we switched from the ready-to-drink formula to the concentrate ready-to-drink can of Enfamil, so we needed to prepare the whole can of formula in batches and put all the bottles in the fridge. When it's time to feed my son, we took the formula out from the fridge and then use the bottle warmer to warm it up. I guess we warm it too much to make the formula warm instead of just "room-temperature"... my son then found out the warm formula taste better than the room-temperatue and refuse to drink the room-temp formula any more (esp in winter time). So thereafter, it's more troublesome to feed my son because everytime we need to warm the formula first. :(
So my advice for you is: if your bb haven't try any warm formula/milk and drink the room-temperature one fine, DON'T warm it for ur bb. :D It may save you some trouble. Though I guess it depends on different kids but I heard from my friend that her bb is also like my son's case.
Nowadays my son is older and it's in summer time, I can bring a baby bottle filled with room-temp water and then bring the Enfamil Next Step powder with me (or sometime just bring the leftover ready-to-drink formula) when we go out. We will make the formula on the go. Though if the weather is not that hot or if my son is not super hungry, he may not drink the cool formula but prefer warm one instead.
Carrie,
做老公嘅咁係想老婆响屋企煮飯洗衫,d仔女一見佢就識叫daddy la.不過你要長時期對住一個bb就真係好悶.返去hk休息下都好ga.
Corey响屋企study但我爸爸都 sit next to Corey ga.咁先生走咗後我阿爸都識同Corey practice囉.我阿爸就mon to fri 都冇息休ga.每日要帶Corey出2至3次街,唔係Corey就响屋企嘈 .
