I just asked my hubby. He said not all particles will be trapped in the water basin. He said those untrapped will be filtered by the HEPA filter and then the filtered air will come out of the duct.
He said with whatever vaccum, the air must come out somewhere. Rainbow is more expensive because it's more powerful in suction.
