I have visited the "snow house" in Bangkok's Dream World and Malaysia's Genting, it seems the one in Singapore is more "professional" after I access the web site. It also provide training programe for the children.(but not for visitior)

Don't know if the following destination has been posted in this forum or not, if you go to Singapore on your own with kid, maybe you can try the Singapore Discovery Centre. Last time I went there with my daughter from Singapore Zoological Gardens directly, so I found it is quite far away, also, I cannot found a taxi after visited the Singapore Discovery Centre, I have to take a bus and than take MTR to back to the hotel, but the people are quite nice and willing to help you and the Discovery Centre is quite suit for the kid arond 5 to 10 years old.(from my point of view only)
Thanks a lot for the valuable information.
 But my baby is only 2.5 yr. & my hubby has already arranged dinner with his friend at sg, so we may not have much time to go for each and every sight point.
Have you ever been to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia? Next week I'm going there to join my hubby's business trip ... think I have to spend much of time alone. Would you give me any suggestion for travelling there?
Thank you Melvinma and other moms who have helped me a lot in the Singapore trip's materials. I just returned from my 4 days 3 nights' trip.
I went to Night Safari, Sentosa, dined at Clarke Quay, Lau Pa Sat, shopping at Orchard Road, China Town for souvenirs.... it's really a relax trip.
Although it is very cheap to take taxi, I usually choose MRT as my transport. My son now is very expert in buying the tickets from the GTM and arranging the S$1 refund. I stayed in Le Meridien Hotel in Orchard Road. It is only around 5 mins walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT which is an interchange station. There are big supermarkets nearby e.g. Cool Storage in Robinson and Carrefour in Plaza Singapura.
Melvinma, Lau Pa Sat Festival Market is really a very good place for trying the local food. We don't like taking spicy food but were tempted to try the fried 魔鬼魚, it's very delicious but quite hot  for us. Have you tried the Big Prawn, using butter to fry? Very yummy ar... the shell of the prawn is very crispy and with sweet butter taste.....
My husband said the Satay at Clarke Quay is better than in Lau Pa Sat's, we ate nearly 2 dozen .... the ice-cream man "tricks" made my son very happy and want to buy one more cone.
We all enjoyed a lot and my son asked us when he can come again to Singapore.

Finally, I confirmed my trip to Singapore at the end of Aug, although it is 4 days 3 nights, actually it is two full days only (since my husband is very busy, I have to take evening flight to Singapore, arrival at 11:40 p.m., and back to HK by morning flight)
Nevertheless, I hope my daughter can enjoy her holiday, since you are the expert, I would like to seek advise from you:
I intend to stay at the following hotels, but don't which one is the best in terms of location:
(1) Raffles The Plaza (= Westin)
(2) Shangri-la Rasa Sentose,
I will spend one day in Sentose, the other day will go to the Zoological and Snow Garden. I will arrival Singapore in the late evening, if I stay at Sentose, it save time in travelling from and to the airport, and in the next day, I did not need to travel again to go to Sentose. However, in the 3rd day, I have to go out the island in order to go to the Zoological Garden and Snow City, is it convenience in travelling? I remember last time (4 years ago), I take Cable Car to go to the Sentose, is it the same now?
If I stay at the Raffles the Plaza, it is located at the heart of the City? (please correct me if I am wrong), is it convenience for travelling to Sentose? I also want to go to East Coast for dinner and Mandarin Hotel to eat the Chicken rice, in terms of this factor, it seems it is better to stay at the Raffles the Plaza than Sentose, so I cannot make decision which one is better.
In addition, if I take taxi from Zoological Garden to Snow Garden, did your know how long it needs to take.
Any suggestion from your end which sight seeing are suit for the kid around 6 to 7 years old.
