我想問下小朋友體温 8 yrs old, 是否中午會最熱呢, 咁晚上9點零會唔會比較低或高架呢??

其實佢一路以來, 好多時體温都係偏高的. 不過佢呢排啱啱乙形流感好番, 我比較worry 啲. 好似頭先同佢口探, 就98.8啦, 有燒嗎? 佢係醫院用耳機探, 姑娘話38先叫做燒. 佢就37.5 到, 但清晨就36.幾. 早上都係, 但一到下午, 又到番37, 37.5 咁直至夜晚. 但姑娘仍然話無燒喎.

有時係屋企肛探同口探, 佢既分別都唔會好大架, 我係咪有咩出錯呢?

另, 你有無遇過體温偏高的小朋友呢? 仲想問乙形流感嚴重嗎?

Ans.: No. For Oral temperature, > 99.2 F = fever.

Dear Dr Yonex,
My baby girl has one year's old injection on 15.3.2007 and then got fever on 22.3.2007. We went to consult doctor on 24.3.2007 and he thought that the fever was not related to the injection and the doctor performed a blood test on 26.3.2007. The report shown that the white blood cell count and the and the 血小板 was a little lower that the normal range (no fever) . Also, the distribution of white blood cell shown that most of the while blood cell was fight against virus and only a small percentage (4%) of while blood cell was ready to fight against bacteria. So my baby was very weak and the doctor suggested that not to bring the girl out. On 28.3.2007 and 31.3.2007, a second and third blood test was performed, the report shown that the white blood cell count (5.3) and the 血小板 (300) was now in normal range but the distribution of white blood cell was still the same. The doctor said that the virus still in the body and need to perform another blood test after Easter Holiday. I am afraid that it was a kind of blood cancer but the doctor said that if it was blood cancer, the level of 血小板 will not fell into normal range and even become more worst. Dr Yonex, what is your opinion ? Thanks a lot !
