BS & RMM,
It was a long trip but hardly bored at all. We had a great time, lots of new experience. Feel even better than our trip to US west coast. We went to Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns & Gold Coast. Caught the heat wave (44 degrees) in Melbourne, fortunately not the fire! We did sand boarding, tobbogan ride (fun), helicopter ride over 12 Apostles, barn & fruit farm (cracking Macadamia nuts!), wine tasting at Hunter Valley, watching penguin parade, go cart on grand prix circuit, caught mud crab..... Only thing we couldn't do is hot air balloon & Great Barrier Reef because of tropical cyclone in Cairns & maze in Melbourne because of the heat. Otherwise, wonderful weather & friendly Australian!

This Monday I got back to work & heard my company is laying off people everyday! I can be a full time mum soon!

Dear All Siu Bing Buddies,

Audreymom found yesterday that Siu Bing's offer was still valid (up to 11 Feb only), and called IDD to check how she could order + get the books back to HK.
Then found that for placing an order for 3 sets of books (~75 books), Siu Bing could arrange to ship back to HK by slow method, takes ~1m by sea, at cost of ~HK$3 per book.

So I called my TW nephew and he said he will see if his delivery could be changed so that instead of delivering to him in TW, our lot (~65 books) can be sent back to HK by Siu Bing by same method.

Will keep you informed.

Yeap! Australia is really a nice place to go for vacation.

Just heard that ATV has made >200 staff redundant today.... terrible!

Kv had very high fever (40.1C) in the midnight around 3am.

I took him to the clinic of Canossa Hosiptal and found that he caught Influenza A after the lab test.

He has to stay at home this week and take Tamiflu for 5 days.

LunMa's son was also down with FluA a few days ago woh.

Learnt from piglet's school circular yesterday that some kids (P3) were down. Metro today (?) also posted names of several schools with kids down with FluA - incl piglet's school.

Actually not sure whether piglet and I got iA or something else just before CNY. Only knew it was URI, doc did not "type" it. Probably not A, cos we didn't hv high fever.

To check whether you got influenza A or not, you need to take some inner nose fluid for lab test gar.

Kv got a "

ositive" for FluA test and a "Negative" for FluB test last night at Canossa Hospital.

unable to add your books to the order this time.
But Siu Bing ppl said they will have another promo soon, we need to look out for this one.

My nephew said the books were delivered to his place (downstairs) today. ~1 A4 box.
Will see how / when he will ship it back to me.

And RMM and GN4,
Kitty should be right (she has a much better memory than mine) - we should already have the books up to No. 40 in the Siu Bing Happy series.

My nephew said the food in TW is not that yummy ga ja.

U can shop for books woh : should be able to arrange delivery to 7-11 / hotel. GN4 should be able to tell you more. And you can check from TW publishers' websites.
