There are plenty of malaysian taxi drivers waiting there. And there is a simple counter for helping those driver. Most of them are Chinese also.
Actually it is same price from Singapore to anywhere in 新山.
My drive told me he took someone from Singapore to 新山 on the early morning. Then he waited at the Queen station taxi stop for return trip back to 新山. They are not allowed to pick up passenger on this street, so they only wait there
