Dear Dr. Yonex,
我又有一個問題想請教你架, 我想同我bb打乙型流感啫血桿菌Hib針, 想問呢枝針係咪要打四針, 每二個月打一針??
我bb而家三個月大先打可以嗎? 如果每二個月打一針的話佢只可以係香港打頭二針, 因為我決定左係佢六個半月大時會帶佢返new zealand 住, 請問如果返nz 時那邊打既hib針係唔同藥廠做既話, 都可以繼續同bb follow up Hib 尾個二枝針嗎?? 會唔會有問題呢?? 因為我唔知道如果唔同藥廠做既針(Hib針)mix 埋一齊打有無問題, 可以咁個嗎?? 定係比較好等佢返去 nz 時先開始打 Hib針(因為我唔知Hib針有無話幾大唔打得)??

咁如果亞女食晒, 但無病無痛, 我又想佢開胃啲, 咁享邊到有得配番差不多架呢??

Thanks for your reply and thanks for letting me know I can get her to inject hib for 1~2 months apart as I thought is like at least need 2 months apart. I will get her to inject hib as soon as possible. thanks heaps

Also want to ask you for Hib vaccine, should i get my daughter the Hiberix or which one is better as I need to get her inject all three doses by july. thanks heaps

My doctor gave medicine 'Bifen' and 'Dhamol' to my 2 years and 2 months old kid. What should be the suitable volume I give her each time, 2.5 ml or 5 ml?

oh, I want to ask you about whether or not should I get my daughter to inject the hib vaccine (first dose) on 9/4 as she had taken the 輪狀病毒疫苗 first dose on 30/3?? As my father-in-law said to me maybe I get her to take vaccine 時間太密, he said the 輪狀病毒疫苗 still new in her body and I should wait a bit longer to inject the hib vaccine to her, am i too hurry about the vaccination to her??? I am so worry that might do harmful thing to her? Please give me some advise, thanks heap!

1) the body wt. of the kid,
2) the concentration of the medicines.

Ans.: 輪狀病毒疫苗can be given with 5-in-1 or 6-in-1 together. As you know, both of these vaccines contains HIB. So, the answer is no problem with the timing.

My daughter is 3.5 years old. She sufferred from very high fever (40 degree) for over 24 hours. She looked very cool and the body is shaking, when she had high fever. No mood to eat any kind of food. She had already visited a family doctor this morning and take medicine.
Under what situation she needed to be sent to hospital? Did she need anti-biotics?

Ans.: Yes, it's safer to observe and have treatment in the hospital for high fever. She has risk of febrile convulsion (發燒抽筋)too.

Does she need anti-biotics?
Ans.: Yes, after proper lab tests.

PS. If U have difficulties in finding the family Dr. for admission in this holiday, I can recommend U reliable one in Union/St.Teresa's/Baptist hospital.
