Dear Mrsrose,

我家菲姐第一張約將會在08年11月到期,我都很滿意她,很想和她續第二張約
另外之前我答應過她,可以比她在3月放大假返菲律賓看仔仔

所以我有些問題想問:
1)如果在3月份放大假後(放14天),到08年11月到期再續第二張可否不回菲律賓都能續約?
2)第一張約年假是否合共14天(1年7天),到第二張約是否按年加1天?
3)菲律賓航空來回機票(3月份)太約how much?(和國泰比較價錢相差得大不大?
4)第一張約(2年)之後再續第二張約,僱主責任上是否只需付一套來回機票供傭工....如傭工1年回1次老家,第1年的來回機票費用是否慵工自費?
5)續約需提早幾時找僱傭公司辨?

Dear Mrs. Rose, I will relocate to USA this April. My friend would like to take over my Indonesia Maid. Can I do the whole process by myself? I don't want to do the transfer by Agent because they charge my Maid HK$12,000. My Maid and I are good friend now because she takes good care of my baby and works really hard. So I hope I can help her to do the transfer so that she doesn't need to pay the agent. Please teach me how.
Moreover, I want to invite my maid to USA, travel for about 2 weeks before she starts working for my friend. Is it really hard to get USA visa for her? Anything I should do so that she can get her tourist visa? Thank you so much.

My Maid Resign

My maid resign by herself and has already given 1 month notice period to me.

I would like to ask except buying airline ticket for her, I should pay her $100 per day for the transportation fee from Philippines Airport back to her home.

However, should I also need to give her the transportation fee in HK?

你諗住算數但工人未必架，佢而家肯認等你放棄報警，遲D去勞工處告你又話你迫佢認! 你問下你Agent，如果日後發生呢件事佢地係咪負責先! 係就叫佢地白紙黑字寫保証書俾你，唔肯你就要諗清楚點做好D。

ANS:可以不回菲律賓但續約後、仍要出HK境一次去China or Macau。

ANS: 第3年8日、第4年9日，兩年合共17日。

ANS: 菲律賓航空和國泰比較，一般貴HK$500以上。實價你可打去各大小Travel Agent 度問。

ANS: 僱主只需負責一套來回機票給傭工，額外旅費當由工人自費。

ANS: Bun Bun可以自己攪續約，提早一個月前辦手續。

How long your maid worked with you? If more than 2 years she can changed to other Agent and process all the changed employer proceders in HK, provide that you need to stated the reason in the release paper that you will Immigrate to other country. She definately no need to exit HK. Normally changed employer agency fee around HK$2500-3500 only, no need $12000. But if she not more than 2 years in HK, she need to follow her old agent that is the regulation in Indonesia Consulate. About the direct hire proceders please check with Indonesia Consulate for details.

About the travel to USA, for my understand Indonesian not easy to go for tourist. Details you also need to check with USA Embassy, I really don't know what are their requirement.

$100 per day is the transportation & food allowance for the maid from your house to HK airport. Normally I will suggest pay HK$50 extra for travel expenses from Philippines or Indonesia airport to her home.

RE ID Card

Dear Mrs. Rose,

Thanks for your reply. So, I need to apply another ID card for the maid & the current ID is not valid.

But why the agent & the maid told me that no need to re-new the ID as they said when the maid entered the Immigration, the ID will be effective at that date. For you information, the maid left HK on Sept. 2006 & the ID on her hand is the new one -- the smart ID. Is it okay for her not to re-apply another one? Sorry for asking again.

我有朋友工人唔要比我(她不再請工人，可用Finical problem)，而工人三月中想放假返菲律賓，請問那個方法好D？

1. 炒了工人先，可否我再在香港申請工人，她回菲，代有working visa後才回來, 可行嗎？可否自己/工人辨手續？
2. 三月中，工人先放假回菲，回港後才炒工人，我才請她？

Mrsrose,

I want to hire a maid (terminate contract on 14 Feb) due to her employer cannot speak fluent English. She said she has to back to Phil for 2 weeks first to apply for visa before back to HK again. Is this the requirement of HK immigration Dept ? I wonder this is because she was fired by her boss so has to return to Phil and come back again.

I found another one which her employer will immigrate to overseas next month so will terminate her contract now. However, since I plan to start contract with her in May. Can she stay in HK until May or she has to back to Phil first ?
